LUCKY ME - LUCKY ME LAYOUT | with Inessa

For this layout, I had so much fun working with the bright and cheerful Lucky Me collection. The happy rainbows, sweet clovers, and playful colors made this project such a joy to create.

I started with the My Lucky Charm 12x12 paper as the base of my layout. I loved the colorful pattern and knew it would be the perfect foundation. I trimmed Lily White cardstock to 11 x 11 inches, stitched a border around the edge using pink thread, and then adhered it right to the center of my patterned paper.

For the main design element, I really wanted to feature the adorable rainbow doodle cuts. I selected a mix of cardstock along with papers from the Lucky Me collection and cut several rainbow pieces. I mixed and matched the colors and layers so each rainbow felt a little different and playful. In total, I created six rainbows, but ultimately decided to use four of them, popping them up with foam adhesive along the left side of the layout for dimension.

For my photo, I chose a 3x4 photo and layered it with colorful mats. First, I matted it with the polka dot side of the Clover Patch patterned paper, and then added a second mat using the Color Me Happy patterned paper to bring in that bright rainbow pop. The photo cluster was placed on the right side of the layout to balance the rainbow design.

For my title, I used the words “Lucky Me” from the All the Things pack, popping them up with foam adhesive to give them a little extra dimension. I added a fun mix of clover icons around the title to tie everything together.

To embellish the rainbows, I layered in florals and clouds die cuts, which added extra color to the design. I also placed the adorable lucky charm doodle-pop at the bottom left corner of my photo for a cute finishing touch.

To finish everything off, I added sprinkles to the centers of the flowers, gold glimmer mist for a subtle sparkle, and then completed the layout with my journaling.

I absolutely love how this page turned out. This layout celebrates how lucky I feel to have my sister-in-laws in my life and how our relationship has grown into such a beautiful friendship.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this project inspires you to pull out your Lucky Me collection and create something fun!

Have a wonderful day and see you next time! ✨

LUCKY ME -- LUCKY SCRAPBOOK PAGE | with Brianna

Hey friends, happy Monday! Brianna here today with another layout using the Lucky Me collection. The weather here has really warmed up in the last couple of weeks and my daughter and I have been spending a lot more time outside. I really wanted to make a page dedicated to how lucky/grateful I am to be able to stay home with her. What's that saying.. The days are long, but the years are short? It's true...I've experienced that with having older boys that are now young adults. It goes by so fast and I'm enjoying every second we spend together. This collection is so happy and fun, the perfect collection for the story that I'm telling. Here's my page:

To start, I selected the Color Me Happy 12x12 paper as my base. I then layered a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed to 11x11 on top. I absolutely love a diagonal stripe as my base layer! I really wanted to add a nice even mix of cardstock and patterned paper so I trimmed down a piece of the Pistachio cardstock and layered both the Rainbow Skies and My Lucky Charm papers on top of it. The cardstock helped break up some of that busy pattern.

Next, I matted my photo using the Clover Patch 12x12 paper and then double matted it with the Swimming Pool cardstock to help it pop even more. Look at all of those pretty paper layers!!

The new coordinating Shakers for this collection are amazing and I really wanted to make a simple shaker element for this page. I pulled out my 2" circle punch and punched out a circle using the B side of the My Lucky Charm paper. I love that tone on tone pink polka dot print! Then I pulled out my flower punch and punched it right in the center of my circle. This created my window for my shaker and I love the flower shape! I backed my shaker with the Rain Drops Heavy Acetate, applied foam tape around my window and carefully poured in some of the Rainbow Bright Shakers mix. I closed it up using a scrap piece of vellum and I love how it turned out. So simple but oh, so cute!

I placed the shaker at the bottom of my photo and then decided to adhere my title right on top of it. It really stands out! I felt like I needed to add some larger pieces on each side of it, so I selected the cute sun and the cloud piece from the All The Things pack and adhered them on each side. Then I started to embellish the rest of the page by pulling in more die cuts, Puffy Icons as well as some regular Icons stickers.

Here's one last look at this sweet page:

LUCKY ME - LUCKY CHARM LAYOUT | with Tarrah

One of my favorite things about Doodlebug Design collections is the adorable characters—and the Lucky Me Collection has some of the cutest! This layout was so much fun to create with all the sweet leprechauns, shamrocks, and pops of happy green and yellow featured in the gorgeous Lucky Me collection!

For this layout, I wanted to keep the design playful while still letting the photo shine. I started with a crisp white background and framed it with the Shamrock Wishes patterned paper from the Lucky Me Collection to create a bold, festive border. The layered greens instantly set the vibe and give the page a fresh, lively feel.

To build my main design, I created a vertical panel on the left side using the 'B' side of the Rainbow Skies patterned paper. I added a scalloped green border sticker from the This & That sticker sheet along the edge to bring in extra texture and dimension. This panel helps anchor the layout and draws your eye right toward the photo and embellishment cluster.

I layered several embellishments around the photo, including sweet little leprechauns, shamrocks, and a pot of gold.

The layered die-cuts help create a playful scene at the bottom of the photo, almost like the characters are celebrating the memory captured in the picture. I also tucked in a few small flowers and hearts to soften the look and add more pops of color.

My title, “Lucky Charm”, sits right underneath the photo and acts as the focal point of the page. I love how the bright yellow letters pop against the green and white layers. To add a bit more emotional storytelling of my 2 sons in the black and white photo, I included the small phrase sticker Lucky & Blessed above the photo.

The Lucky Me Collection from Doodlebug Design Inc is perfect for documenting St. Patrick’s Day memories, lucky moments, or even everyday photos that deserve a cheerful touch. The combination of cute characters, vibrant patterns, and sweet sentiments makes it incredibly easy to build layered, story-filled pages.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this layout inspires you to pull out your Lucky Me Collection and create something bright, happy, and full of charmHappy creating!

LUCKY ME - LUCKY ME LAYOUT | with Nathalie

I am loving the new Lucky Me collection! All the colors, the cute designs, and the sentiments are just so perfect to document those special memories. I took a few pictures from my littlest cousins for this layout.

I love geometric patterns, and the rainbow stripes are just a great way to bring attention to areas of the layout.   I cut some from the 6x8 paper pad and then lined them up to create chevrons on my white cardstock.

I set my photos ( I framed these with papers from the 6x8 paper pad) in the center area where all the chevrons point, making them the focus of my layout.  I needed just a few embellishments to bring sentiment and color to them.

I balanced the position of the pictures by adding embellishments to  the corners of each picture.  This  helps make the page balanced even when the photos are only on one area of the layout.

I wanted to accent the diagonal lines in the layout, so I used them to position my title.   The key was to find the right fit.  I wanted it to fit on one line and be large enough to balance the other side of the spread.  I then used Sprinkles to create a guiding line to the center to the chevrons.

I love how this  turned out!  I hope this inspires you to get crafty with your Lucky Me collection, I cannot wait to see what you will create with it!  XO

LUCKY ME - LUCKY ME LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Do you love bright and happy projects? Well look no further, todays layout is bursting with rainbows, hearts, shamrocks, and that signature Doodlebug charm'! The new Lucky Me collection was the perfect match for a photo I absolutely treasure of my two sons.

The first thing that inspired this page was the playful mix of patterns in the collection. From happy hearts to charming clovers, every piece feels like a celebration of joy and gratitude. I started with a clean white background so the colors could really shine, then framed the page with the rainbow‑striped patterned paper for that quintessential Doodlebug pop. To create the large clovers, I took my heart dies and the papers from the 6' x 8' paper pad and assembled 3 lots of 4 leaf clovers using foam tape under each heart for dimension.

For the stalks of the clovers, I used various scalloped border strip stickers from the This and That sticker sheet. The adorable sun icon peeking out from the side adds such a happy vibe, and I love how the super cute cloud Doodle Pop and mini icons bring everything together.

The title 'Lucky Me' comes straight from the collection and sits proudly above my photo. The bold lettering paired with the candy‑colored palette makes it stand out beautifully. I added a small sentiment sticker just above the picture to pull in a heartfelt touch.
The photo nestles right among the whimsical mushrooms, birds, and greenery and instantly grounds the layout and creates a darling little scene right at the bottom.

No Doodlebug project is complete without a sprinkle of finishing touches. I added tiny florals, heart sprinkles, and a couple of sentiment tabs like “My Lucky Charm” and “Blessed” to complete the storytelling. These little pops of color add so much personality without overwhelming the design.

This layout came together so effortlessly thanks to the bright, happy pieces in the Lucky Me collection. It’s the perfect mix of playful and heartwarming, and it truly captures how grateful I feel for the moment in my photo.

If you're looking for a collection that radiates positivity, works for everyday memories, St. Patrick’s Day projects, and everything in between—this one is pure magic!

Happy creating!

LUCKY ME - LIFE MEMORIES LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Who is wishing for the weather to change and start to warm up just a bit?  Unfortunately it is going to take a little bit longer here in Canada, that means time indoors to work on crafty projects using the new Lucky Me Collection.  Oh the colors, designs, icons, and overall happy feeling is just what you need to bring some cheer to your life.

I  wanted color for this spread and to use the icons in an everyday memory.   So, a simple design was the way to go!

I started with the Limeade Gingham-Linen Petite Print  paper for the background of my page, then I cut a strip of the My Lucky Charm paper and added to the center of the paper.    To frame the photos, I pulled the frame paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad (I fussy cut the sun and cloud from it), then added another piece from the same pad to cover the image on the paper.

I framed the photos with a papers from the 6x8 paper pad, then placed them on the layout.  Then it was all about embellishing.  I used the fussy cut sun to start a line of embellishments from the top to the bottom of the photos.

To create my title, I mixed some pieces of ephemera and added some of the icon stickers to the left and right of the title so that the photos are anchored to the page. I love how the icons fit the photos just right!

To balance the page I combined pieces from the Mini Icons stickers and All the Things at the bottom edge of the page.   This makes the page centered and cohesive.  All I needed were just a few more pops of color using Sprinkles around the major clusters on the page.

I love how this turned out.  The colors and icons make it all pop nicely!  I cannot wait to see what you can create with the new Lucky Me collection. XO

BEE HAPPY SO CUTE LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so happy to share another layout using the so adorable, Bee Happy collection. Here's my page:

Before I started this page, I was brainstorming and thought.. let's add a bunch of patterns to this layout! And that's just what I did. I ended up choosing the Bee Happy paper as my base and then trimmed out a 10x12 piece from the Sweet As Honey paper and layered it right on top. I wanted a pop of solid color so I trimmed down a piece of the Swimming Pool cardstock and layered it right under the Sweet As Honey paper so only a little strip of it was peeking out. Next, I adhered those papers down.

I took a look at the foundation of my page and thought it could use a bit more pattern, so I trimmed down a piece of the B side of the Bee Happy paper and centered and adhered it down. I also added in the cardstock scrap I had leftover to serve as a grounding piece for my photos and I love how it turned out!! I'm so happy that I captured this moment between my daughter and son. Even with the massive age gap, they're still so very close!

Now that all of my paper layers were complete, I got to work on embellishing the rest of my page. I built my title using a couple of phrases from the All The Things pack and made sure to pop it up on foam tape for more interest.  I then selected a few other pieces that would sandwich my photo clusters and couldn't resist adding that adorable bee right next to my title.

I added a fun little phrase sticker from the 12x12 Icons sticker sheet at the top of my photos and then adhered a few more embellishments around it. The white heart stickers are from the My Honey Doodle-Pop that I had leftover from my previous layout. They look so cute surrounding that bee!

For some final touches, I sprinkled in some smaller Puffy Icons stickers and that completed my page! Here's one last look:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! I'll see you in my next post friends!

MADE WITH LOVE LIFE'S SHORT. EAT CAKE LAYOUT | with Brianna

Happy Monday friends! I'm here today sharing a new layout featuring the Made With Love collection. In our family, we love to cook and bake. It's a way for us to spend quality time together, making delicious food from our hearts. We love to gather around the table and talk about anything and everything. Being back in our home state has allowed us to reconnect with our families more than just one time a year. We've really been enjoying it! Here's my page that documents a recent photo of one of our trips to my Moms house. This collection was absolutely perfect for this photo!

This collection is soft and pretty, so I thought I would pull out my large doily punch and punch some pretty edges into a few of the 12x12 patterned papers. I layered them together and popped them up on foam tape and set them aside to work on my background.

I went through the Made With Love coordinating cardstock pack and chose the Cupcake paper as my base. I thought it would make a pretty background! Before I adhered all of my punched papers down, I sprayed some white paint across my background for some extra interest and because I love the look of white paint on colored cardstock! Next, I matted my photo using the 6x6 Paper Pad and stuck it down towards the center of my page.

For my title, I chose a phrase from the Chit Chat pack and adhered it down where it would create a diagonal design across my layout. The Icing On The Cake Doodle-Pop was the perfect embellishment next to my title. I made the pink one look like it wrote the 'sugar' part of my title. How cute is that?!

Next, I took the other frosting bag and layered it on a cute cookie of the same color. I embellished using the Odds & Ends pack as well as the Mini Icons Stickers. Those little sprinkle bottles are so cute!!!!

I wanted to include a few smaller elements in my embellishment clusters, so I used the Bake Me Happy and With All My Heart Shape Sprinkles.

Here's one last look at this sweet page:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!
