FAIRY GARDEN YOU CAN ALWAYS USE A FRIEND LAYOUT | with Nathalie

We can always use the loving hugs of a close friend, even when they are made out of fur and stuffed with cotton.   I was lucky to capture this moment, and what better way to document it than by adding the whimsical new Fairy Garden  Collection.

I opted for a simple, but colorful design for the page.  All the paper strips are about 1.25 in, and are arranged along the width of a Petite Print paper.  The soft yellow polka dot becomes a neutral amongst the vibrant patterns.

I transformed the photo to black and white and added a few layers of paper behind it.   The Chit Chat ephemera are perfect to add the sentiment to the page, while the fairies just add a bit of the whimsical nature of the picture.

I chose the new My Type Alphabet stickers to create the title of the page, and place it on the page so that it creates a soft diagonal design.  I grounded the page with a small scalloped sticker at the bottom edge of the page, and added a cluster of ephemera that caps off the page.

A few lines of journaling, and lots of sprinkles popping throughout, complete the page.  I love how this turned out.  Simple and clean with a touch of sweet from Doodlebug's Fairy Garden collection.  XO
