FAIRY GARDEN BUMBLEBEE MINI ALBUM | with Traci

One of my favorite little Doodlebug "bugs" of all time is the sweet little bumblebee. Ever since this cutie was introduced in a spring line a few years back, I always look forward to seeing it fly back into a new collection, hence my inspiration for my latest shaped mini album.

To make my album, I used a new cutting file from the Fairy Garden collection called Bumblebees. I offset the back base shape of one of the bees, and cut the offset out of white card stock to make each of my pages.

How fun are those little vellum wings!?  Once I glued the center down, I folded the wings up a bit for some cute dimension.

I chose a base color palette of yellow, white and blue to keep things consistent, but then I added lots of color with the circular photo mats and embellishments.  That cute banner is from the mini icon stickers and it was the perfect size for this little album.

I love that little "Hello Friend" sticker from the This & That sheet so I used it in place of a photo mat on this page.

I mixed 12x12 patterns from the Fairy Garden collection, and lots of bumblebee, lemon, and swimming pool petite prints.  That yellow pattern with the little bees (Bee Happy) is my favorite, and I love the honeycomb pattern on the back too!

Thanks for letting me share my latest shaped mini with you!  I'd love to see what you're creating with Fairy Garden so please tag your projects with @Doodlebugdesign and @Artsyalbums so we can see!  Happy crafting everyone!
