CHRISTMAS MAGIC TREAT CONES | with Tya

I don't know about you but I am always needing little gifts I can give to my friends and neighbors this time of year. Whether it is a last-minute teacher gift or a quick and easy way to give a treat - these little cones are a quick and easy way to solve all the last-minute gift-giving dilemmas! Plus I get to use my cute Doodlebug paper and embellishments - so it's a win!
To make these little cuties, I  used this cut file and used my Silhouette to cut out the cones.  I couldn't really find any cones I loved, so this is a party hat that I just used upside down - make those cut files work for you the way you need them to I say lol! I just ungrouped the shape and deleted the feathers since I didn't need them. I liked that this cut file had a notch that I could hook the paper in the back so it would stay nice and snug. You could also do a google search of paper cones online and use a template- that would work as well.
To decorate the cone, I thought it would be fun to make a little label. I used a mini doily and a 2 1/2 inch white cardstock circle as the base. I used the "Merry Christmas" sentiment found on the Christmas Magic Stamps. I stamped it in some black ink on the bottom section of the circle. I then used a few different shades of ink on the circle to add some interest to the background before I added my icons. The stickers are from the Icon Sticker sheet. I added them to the circle with some foam tape. I then added one of the Tiny Heart sprinkles on the bottom under the sentiment. I added the whole circle to the front of the cone with some double-sided tape. I then attached some bakers twine to one of the mini clothespins and pinned it to the rim of the cone.  I kind of love the scale of the stickers on these cones - they are just the right size for smaller projects like this.
Here are the other two cones I made. You can choose to fill the cones up with any treats you want. Small toys, socks, or even a gift card would be really fun in these as well.

Well, that's all I have for you today! I hope that I have inspired you to create a few of these fun cones for your gift-giving this year. There are so many darling pattern papers in the Christmas Magic collection -how could you not give something cute when you use this line! Happy Holidays friends!
