Petite Prints Floral Treat Boxes | with Karen

Well, it was back to school for the kiddos this week and that usually spells the end of summer. But I'm not ready this year. Give me a couple more weeks of leisurely schedules and beach afternoons and I would be a happy gal. While I might not be able to change what the calendar says, I can change what my crafting space looks like. So, I'm going to take a few more weeks to fill it with bright, colorful projects that bring the summer sunshine inside!
Like these little treat comntainers that I made with the amazing new Dot-Stripe Petite Prints and Floral-Graph Petite Prints. If you have never worked with Doodlebug's Petite Prints, you have been missing out. These perfectly coloured patterened papers coordinate with everything Doodlebug, but definitely stand on their own as well.
I love that each piece has a different pattern on the back...in this case, stripes and polka dots. If you love making treat containers like I do, this is a "must have" product. There is nothing better than opening up a little fold-over bag or opening up a box to find a different pattern inside. It elevates any project from "aw" to "wow"!
And because all of the colours come from Doodlebug's colour palate, they coordinate with each other as well. Mix and match your favourite colours for a fun trio of containers that are ready for candies or even gift cards!
Don't be afraid to use the Petite Prints for an organic object either - like these daisies that I made. These are cut from the Floral-Graph Petite Prints, and I find the pattern provides a whimsical texture to the flowers. Again, because you will find the same colour on the back or the paper just in a different print, you can create 3D objects with ease. Add some Chunky Twine and some Lily White Glitter Sprinkles and you will be all set. They are the perfect little containers to keep summer on you crafting table.

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
