It was really easy to create this project. I started off by deciding on the Hello collection for my accents. Then, I picked some of the Petite Prints that match the collection. I love how there are papers to match every single Doodlebug line.
Next I cut the paper into 1/4" strips. I cut 5 strips from each color. I knew that I would be able to use both sides of the paper for my project.
I cut a piece of white cardstock to the size that I needed to create the dashboard. I used my insert as a guide to do so. The cardstock served as a base for the project. I only added the strips to the front part. I started at the top left corner and laid the strips across the paper, using a glue stick as my adhesive. I alternated between the floral, dot and stripe patterns. Once I was finished, I trimmed around the edge. Then, I added a doily and a few embellishments.
I created the bookmark using the same technique. I added a die cut, a sticker and some sprinkles to top it off.
Finally, I decorated my insert using the Petite Prints. I cut the papers to fit the sections in my insert. They are the perfect background and added such pretty color to my page. I decorated it with stickers and some Fancy Frills. The small floral stickers made great bullets for my lists.
As you can see, the Petite Prints were a wonderful addition to my planner! They are so versatile.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!
