OH WHAT FUN PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT | Mini Albums - December Daily

Do you December Daily? The Oh What Fun collection has so many products that make documenting the holidays easy!

MADE WITH LOVE RECIPE CLIPBOARD | With Traci

Hey guys! Today, I have a fun project to share with you that I created with the super cute Made With Love Collection. It's a mini recipe album on a clipboard that's filled with pretty flowers, hearts, polka dots, plaids, and the cutest little kitchen supplies!

I found this ring binder clipboard in my stash. It's by Maggie Holmes and it's called a Crate Paper Open Album. The clipboard was a woodgrain pattern so I covered it with the pretty 12x12 plaid paper called Cupcake Cuties.

Then, I created a cover page for my recipes with white card stock. I added the 6x6 paper titled Heartwarmer to the lower half and the scalloped border sticker from the This and That sheet.

For the center embellishments, I used the scallop circle sticker from the This and That and layered a 2.25" circle punched from the 6x6 Bake Me Happy polka dot paper. Then, I finished it with a few flower and heart die cuts from the Odds & Ends.

Inside the cover page, I added more of the 6x6 Bake Me Happy paper, then ... the cute recipe cards! I punched holes in the top of each one and added them to the rings.

I love the recipe cards in this collection. The set includes 36 double-sided cards. There are six of each design that have a pretty pattern along the bottom and a cute image in the corner.

At the bottom of the clipboard, I layered more die cut pieces from the Odds & Ends and added the "perfect recipe" piece from the Chit Chat. And that's it! Easy-peasy!

I hope this cute project inspires you to make your own recipe album with the wonderful Made With Love Collection. The paper and embellishments are so fun, colorful, and filled with the cutest little smiling faces!

MADE WITH LOVE BAKING RECIPE BOOK | with Kathy

I'm excited to be kicking off a couple of weeks of Made with Love Inspiration. I adore this collection. As a baker, I think all the cute little cooking icons are just the sweetest! I decided to make a little baking recipe book to fill with my favorite treats. This would make a fun gift for someone moving out on their own or for a new couple. Take a peek...

The covers of my book are covered chipboard measuring 5.5" x 7.5". It is bound using a hidden disc method (see this video for a tutorial). I love using disc binding, especially for recipe books. It makes adding pages so easy!

The binding is covered with some of Doodlebug's new Heavy Weight Acetate.

On my inside cover I printed a kitchen conversions chart. I always find those handy! I decorated it with some of the Odds & Ends. I divided my recipe book into 4 categories... and created a divider page for each. They are decorated with Odds & Ends, Chit Chat pieces and they are labeled with Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers. I added a punched tab to the sides to easily turn to different categories.

I punched the Made with Love Recipe Cards using my Cinch Multi Tool, so they could be added into the book. In between some of the dividers, I added tags, cut-aparts and Odds & Ends for a little color and fun. Here are some views of all the inside pages/dividers.

I just love all of the punny sayings! I love that by using the disc binding that I can add in pages as needed! I created a video run through of the album and it can be seen on my YouTube Channel below.

CANDY CANE LANE RECIPE BOOK | with Traci

Hi friends! Traci here and today I have a cute and very simple project that uses the adorable recipe cards from the Candy Cane Lane collection. I made a mini album for your Christmas recipes that keeps them safe and organized. This would also be a really great gift idea for someone else this holiday season.

To make this, I started with a 4x6 black and white check Flipbook. On the cover, I layered white card stock and the pretty red Holiday Lights paper. Then, I added a 6 3/4" x 2" strip of the green Tree Festival paper across the middle and embellished with lots of cute trees from the mini icon stickers.

In the center, I used a 3" punch to cut the scalloped circle out of white card stock, a 2 1/2" punch for the black circle, then layered the adorable snow man sticker from the This & That sheet on top.

The little snowman on the bow is a sticker from the puffy shapes icons. I love these so much, I think I've used them on every project this season, lol! I created and printed the label from my computer using Lori Whitlock's Cutie Pie font and added a few ladybug enamel dots to finish it off.

Just inside, I added a little journaling card. It's the perfect spot for a note, especially if this album is a gift for someone. The presents are die cuts from the Odds & Ends and look so cute layered with a bit of foam tape.

Next, I added the recipe cards to the clear page protectors. So easy. What a cute and simple recipe book!

The recipe cards come in a pad of 36 cards and each one has a wonderful little icon from the collection. They have space for the Ingredients on the front and the directions on the back.

FAVORITE RECIPES BOOK | with Lisa

Do you have a ton of yummy recipes that you want to share with best friends or family? Well, I have a super cute gift idea for you, using the sweetest and yummiest Doodlebug collection, Made With Love.

For this project, I absolutely wanted to use this cute collection again! I wasn't sure what to create, but I was thinking about not making a layout, as I usually do, when my eyes fell on the recipe cards, included in the collection. They are so sweet and the perfect size for a small recipe book, in which you can save your favorite recipes and makes an amazing little personalized gift too.

I started by choosing all of the patterned papers that I wanted to use for my decorated pages. I used eight of them and also wanted to include one of the cards, from the cards and envelopes pack. I wanted to add three recipe cards in between every two decorated pages.

For the cover I used this pretty teal patterned paper and for the back cover, the polka dotted yellow paper. I used thick chipboard to wrap the paper around, to create a very sturdy album. I bound all of the pages with a Cinch tool and for an added cute look, I added a lot of colorful twine to the binding wires.

I went crazy with decorating the book, using Doodle-Pops, enamel dots and shapes, jewels, stickers and buttons. I LOVE the buttons included in this collection and wanted to add as many as possible :)

For the front cover, I also created a cute, distressed flower and added a button with a bit of twine in the center. I love using Doodlebug Alpha stickers. Since I have so many colors and fonts, it's so fun to create interesting titles, varying fonts and colors.

This is how the recipe cards look. They are so cute and awesome to write down your fave recipes that you never want to forget or that you want to share with a loved one.

Can you spot the little cutie that made it all the way from one collection to the other...? ;)

On this last page, I added a piece of acetate, creating a little pocket in which you can add little notes and tickets. Can you spot all of the buttons I used on each page? My favorites are the brown square ones, on the chocolate page... ;) I hope you like this little project idea and are inspired to create your own recipe booklet.
