Hi crafty friends! Nice to see you all pop by! Today I have some red, white and blue inspiration for you when you next need to create some special Independence Day themed greeting cards! The best part about gifting a card is you don't need to have a special occasion, and gifting cards anytime during the year tells the receiver how much you treasure them! Stay tuned to see my video showcase of my three greeting cards!
I created these fun layered stars as part of some decoration inspiration a couple years ago and thought they'd be super sweetiful on top of some cards. I carefully peeled off the back larger star and added some fresh adhesive foam rectangles to give extra lift and layered each star onto the decorated card bases.
I find using a white textured cardstock piece behind my embellishments helps the eye to capture the completed look better. If I had this star embellishment on top of patterned paper it would look too busy and cluttered. A few sprinkles and starbursts helps decorate the front of card more, without losing focus. To finish my cards, I've added a word sentiment to each to tie it all together. So cute!
Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you found some inspiration today! Please remember to tag Doodlebug Design in your Socials when you create with our products so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations! Until next time; doodle dee! Enjoy my video showcase!
