PETITE PRINTS BEACH LAYOUT | with Traci

Hey guys! Traci here and today I have a colorful 12x12 scrapbook layout to share with you that's perfect for your beach photos. I used the amazing new petite prints and a bunch of fun embellishments from the Seaside Summer Collection. I can't wait to add photos to this one. 🌞

I started with white card stock as the base and then cut 5 3/4” squares from the plaid polka dot petite prints in cherry, bumblebee, swimming pool, and limeade.

I cut the squares in half diagonally and added the triangles to the white base in a pin wheel design.

I created the 4 inner squares using 5” squares of white card stock and layered on 4 3/4” squares of candy stripe sprinkles petite prints.

I added white photo mats and lots of cute Seaside Summer die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat.

I love, love, love adding shape sprinkles! How cute are those shiny little fish, the anchor, the message in a bottle (2 photos up), and the sunscreen (below).

I just adore the new petite prints. They will definitely be a staple in my scrapbook room. Perfect for any project! I hope this layout inspires you to create something wonderful!

SEASIDE SUMMER DOWN BY THE SEASHORE LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean we can continue reliving its stories.  What better way to document those glorious days than with a bit of Doodlebug's Seaside Summer collection.   I just love the colors and designs!  It is perfect for my family beach vacation photos. Let me show you...

I started with a bit of mixed media on the background -the blue color just reminds me of the sea!-.  While the paint dried, I worked on creating the page's layers.

I ripped a few strips of paper, and curled the ripped edge to remind me of waves.   I set these along the top edge of my page.

I am using a mix of embellishments to create clusters around the bottom edge of the photo.  I love the tropical feel of the Bits & Pieces pack, the colors just matched those of the photo perfectly.

I used the leftover pieces of the ripped papers to create a similar layered look at the bottom of the page.  It just created an opportunity to create the title of my page, and complete the beach scene.

I just love how this turned out. The new Seaside Summer collection will have you documenting your Summer memories in a flash!  XO
