Hey friends! Brianna here and I'm feeling festive for this upcoming holiday season. What better way to kick it off than with the beautiful and brand new Oh What Fun collection!! When I tell you I'm in LOVE with this collection, I mean it!! The colors... the classic red and green with the blues and pinks thrown in. I love it. It's so happy and fun. Here's my page, I had myself a great time creating it:
Before I even started on my page, I brainstormed and knew that I wanted to somehow create a tree using a bunch of patterned papers. So, I went ahead and pulled out the 6x8 Paper Pad and cut squares with the largest being a 6x6 and the smallest a 1x1. I folded them in half to create a triangle and made sure to leave about a 1/4 inch of the backside of each paper visible. This would add even more colors and pattern to my tree. After all of my triangles were folded, I layered them from largest to smallest to build my tree. I LOVE how it came out!!
For my base, I used a piece of Lily White cardstock and trimmed it down to an 11x11 size. I matted it on a piece of Ladybug red cardstock that was trimmed to an 11.5x11.5 size. I then took both papers and matted them to the 12x12 Merry & Bright patterned paper from the collection. I love the horizontal striped peeking behind the bold red cardstock!
For the base of my tree, I pulled out the Kraft cardstock from the Made With Love Solid Assortment pack and trimmed it down to a 2x1 piece. I adhered it at the bottom of my tree and it really completed it! I of course needed some presents under the tree, so I grabbed a bunch from the Odds & Ends pack and adhered them down. They're so cute under there. I then added my two photos and included one of the phrase pieces from the Chit Chat pack right on top of one of them.
For my title, I chose another phrase piece from the Chit Chat pack and popped it up on foam tape. I thought that the top of my layout needed something, so that piece fit nicely up at the top left. To fill the top right side of my page, I added the adorable Santa in the airplane. It was the perfect piece to put up there.
For some finishing touches, I sprinkled in additional presents from the Puffy Icons stickers and then added in a few stars from the Christmas Eve Shape Sprinkles pack. I also made sure to add a little yellow star to the top of my tree! Here's one last look:
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!
