SPECIAL DELIVERY CARDS | with Tya

Hi there! I hope this blog post finds everyone well! I spent some time in my craft room this past week getting to work on my latest batch of handmade cards. This time I got to play with the super cute "Special Delivery" collection. This fun collection is great for those bouncing baby boys in our lives. I  made 6 cards - one shaker card and one slimline card with this collection and  I sure love how they turned out. Here are some close-ups of each of the cards.

Card 1 is a little cluster of babies and all the fun baby products like a bib, toys, and a bottle. This little scene was made using Odds and Ends and the Icon stickers. The sentiment is from the This and That Sticker sheet.

On Card 2, I  created my own background with a cloud stencil and some ink. I love the dimension that it adds. The cute baby on a cloud is from the Odds and Ends. I also added some Stickles to the card for a little shine.

This little guy in the tub is so sweet and takes center stage on Card 3. I loved the striped paper and the white grid paper - both found in the 6x6 Paper pad- made a great statement with this cute tub themed card. More Stickles were added to the bubbles for a more realistic look.

I had so much fun making this card! Card 4 mimics a clothesline full of adorable little baby clothes. It also includes real-life clothespins to complete the look! The Stars are from the  Nighty- Night Shape Sprinkles.

Card 5 is up next - I have really gotten a kick out of making shaker cards lately, and when I found these baby boy themed confetti shapes, I knew I had to make a shaker card!  The cute stork in the right corner is a Doodlepop and adds some great dimension to the card!

Lastly, Card 6 is  a Slimline card, a new card size on that is super trendy right now and just happens to be the perfect size to highlight this fun train found in the Odds and Ends. I decorated the wheels on the train with some gray Sprinkles and made my own sky and grass with  some of our textured cardstock and some Petite Prints.

That's all the cards I have for you today! I hope that I have inspired you to grab the Special Delivery collection and make some handmade cards of your own. These would be great for birth announcements, for gift cards or to use on cards for a baby shower gift. Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Crafting friends!
