SPECIAL DELIVERY 3D BABY ART | with Jennifer

Hello, Doodlebug fans! After receiving the Special Delivery collection I had a bit of a dilemma. What should I create first? The possibilities seemed endless. With all the cute animals, toys, and baby icons, I couldn't decide. So, I consulted with my team of experts, my kids, and we came up with this.

The tractor cutting file I used wasn't 3d. But when cut from several layers of foam board, it gives the piece a nice chunky look.

I wanted the wheels to be just as thick, so they were each cut from 10 layers of chipboard. It was a little time consuming gluing all of those layers together, but cutting them out of foam board, would have been much harder. All the wheels have chunky brad centers. The larger wheels were layered with a striped button as well.

I love the mellow yellow polka paper from the collection and mixed it with some petite prints. For some color, I added some striped detail along the bottom of both pieces.

Initially, I planned to add a bear doodle pop in the front of the tractor, but these tiny birds looked adorable just as they were.

The bear doodle pop got to take a ride in the trailer instead. This piece is double-sided, so I used die-cuts with a mirroring pair, like the banner and envelope icon. For the reverse side of the bear, I just used an extra bear doodle pop.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy crafting, guys!
