WINTER WONDERLAND POCKET PAGES | with Anabelle

I was so excited when I received the adorable Winter Wonderland collection. It is the perfect mix of colors, cute motifs and sweet little animal characters. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of winter, though this line showcases the best of the season. But, as soon as I saw it, I thought of my dear friend who just LIVES for winter. I knew I'd have to make a Pocket Letter to share this sweet collection with her. It was so much fun to put together bits and pieces of my favorite elements of the line. I just love how it turned out.
I started with am 8.5 by 11 page protector. I cut patterned papers from the 6 by 6 paper pad and filled all of the pockets, except the middle one. I left that one empty. Here's a close up of the pockets and what I did with each.

On this first pocket, I used the snowflake die cuts to create a layered snowflake. I added some stickers and washi to the bottom of the pocket and some cute heart shaped sprinkles. You can also see how I added washi and a border sticker strip along the side of the page protector. When I was done, I made a bow from washi and twine and attached it to a hole that was punched in the side.
In this middle pocket, I added the cute snowman DoodlePop and a sticker from the This and That sticker sheet. The next pocket has a large sticker from the same sheet, along with more border stickers along the top. I added a glittery heart from one of the DoodlePops. Tucking things in the pocket and layering stickers and washi on top of the pocket gives the whole Pocket Letter lots of dimension and texture.
The center pocket is my favorite. I left it without a paper backing. I tucked a couple of white transparent snowflakes inside and added some sequins. I just LOVE clear pages. A piece of washi along the top keeps the items inside the pocket. The next one holds a washi card that I created. I used a piece of plastic packaging and added my washi to it. Then I punched a hole in the top and added the twine, so that it can be easily pulled out of the pocket. When I was finished filling the pickets, I added the banner die cut. I used my Wink of Stella pen to add some glitter to it and topped it off with the enamel sprinkle dots. I adhered it to the letter with foam adhesive for more texture.
I love layering elements over the pockets. Here you can see how I used the words Snow Fun. I adhered them to the page and layered them over a few of the pockets.  I tucked some enamel dots into the one pocket and added a snowman clip to a tag that I placed in the next one.
The last pocket holds these two adorable snowmen. I love how cute they are!  I added a couple of snowflake sprinkle stickers as well.
I'm so excited to send my letter to my friend. I know she's going to love these adorable Winter Wonderland goodies as much as I do!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
