CANDY CARNIVAL MICRO NOTE BOOKS | with Jomelle

Eeeek! It's October and you know what that means? Time to celebrate Halloween. I must say that I am a huge fan of Halloween. I always look forward to this time of the year.
When I received the "Candy Carnival" collection, I felt like a little kid in a candy store. I didn't know where to start. I just love everything about this collection.
So before you continue reading, I must warn you this blog will be loaded with tons of photos.
To continue on with the Micro Notes craze, I decided to create my own Micro Notes for memory keeping and for my October daily. This is my first attempt to complete an October daily. So wish me luck and I hope to finish it.
Let's get started. I want to share how I created my Micro Notes. I used the 6x6 paper pad. I chose the designs I want to use and cut them to the size of my Micro Notes. I got mine from Hobby Lobby but I'm sure you can also buy them at Michael's, Joann's or Scrapbook.com
Basically I used the cover of the Micro Notes and trace it to cut the paper pad.
Next, I rounded all the corners.
Then I used the We R Memory Keeper punch board. I bought the disc punch separately. The settings I used are 6,18,30 and 43. If you don't have the punch board, you may use a regular hole puncher and just a cut slit in each hole.
Once you punched holes into all the papers, take out all your Halloween embellishments and just have fun. Decorate with all your heart out and everything will turn out beautiful.
Here is the first one I decorated. I will be using this Micro Notes for memory keeping, notes, brain dump and anything else I need to jot down. I can also carry this with me daily for the month of October.
I'm sure y'all been wanting to see the inside. Let's take a Peek! Photos below will show some of the pages I created. Have fun peeking.
I've always like using this flip open function in my memory keeping. I can add photo or journal behind it. It's a fun interactive addition to my book.
I also made a page marker which has a tab on top to easily find the current page I'm on.

How cute is this pink color added into this Halloween collection? Of course I had to create a cover all about pink.
Here we go. It's time to give October Daily a go. What's October Daily you asked? It's journal or an album where one can document everyday leading up to Halloween. Basically, it's an open book and anything goes. There are plenty of prompts online that you can use and follow.
I am using the pages that came with the Micro Notes I bought. The pink polk dots on the edges goes well with my all about pink theme.

I love Halloween not only for trick or treating or dressing up in costumes, but also because of the spirit that brings people alive and to have a great time.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you can start your very first October daily with me.
