SCHOOL DAYS STAMPING | with Karen

I will not say that it is almost time for back to school. Nope. Not going there. Instead, I am simply going to celebrate the amazingly cute new collection from Doodlebug called "school days" and leave it at that! Because if I ignore it long enough, it will go away, right (not the collection - back to school...oh no, I just said it...<sigh>)? Can you tell I have been having a pretty amazing summer? Packed into it has been a whole lot of crafting, and these new collections that Doodlebug has released have made it even better! I mean, does it get any cuter than this paper (this math loving teacher is all over the formula paper)? And the stamps! Oh, the stamps! I did some masking to create this mini image with the little boy and school bus from the "school boy" stamp set. And while I didn't use the doodle cuts because of the masking, you could create the same effect by using the dies and simply layering the boy on top of the bus!

So while this little general purpose card (okay, okay, it would be great for back to school) was the first project I created with this collection, I can't wait to deck my whole classroom in gems from this collection! It brightens MY day...even if it is a day back at school!
