Hello there Doodlebug peeps! Caroli here and today I want to share my fave kind of project: mini albums! I love mini albums because they allow me to use lots of pics and also lots of embellishments and pretty paper.
Two years ago I had the chance to visit Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World and it was an awesome experience for me and my little girl. I took a ton of beautiful pics but didn't find the perfect collection to scrap them... until my friends from Doodlebug Design launched At The Zoo collection. When I saw this fabulous line I knew it was a wise decition to wait, it's simply perfect!
I had a lot of fun working on this mini, and more important, I had a lot of fun remembering all the good times I spent with my daughter and our friends that day. No more talking and here is my minialbum, love how it came out!
I used a simple ring binding because I wanted to have a lot of pages and pics in this mini, so I used my Bind-It-All for putting it together.
As in all my minis, I used some vellum pages where I printed some journaling, I love the transparency effect of these pages.
Some pics were too big and didn't fit the size of the pages of the mini so I cut them in two and join them back with some washi tape, thus I can fold it and make it fit in the mini.
I hope liked this post and get some inspiration to use this fabulous At The Zoo collection. I really loved the results, this is one of my fave minis so far!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day!

DeleteDoes this book come with all of those colorful pages or did you have to incorporate them into it yourself?
ReplyDeleteHi Lilly Pad, I made the minibook from scratch using a wire binding machine and product from Doodlebug :)
