I'm a real border fan, especially when it has anything to do with scallops so I was thrilled to be working with the Sizzix Doodlebug Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Eyelet Lace & Scallops.
I drew up a rough plan of how I wanted my layout to look and then set about collecting different strips of cardstock that would blend perfectly with our holiday snaps. I didn't think to add the black in between each colour until I laid all the borders down on my page and I felt it needed a lift... so in the end I added the black scallops and it was just right. I certainly gave the Decorative Strip die a workout.
Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I've given you some ideas of how to create a project using lots of colourful decorative strips.
