July PageMaps: All Boy Layout by Stephanie Buice

Hello everyone! Stephanie here today to share my layout based off of
the PageMaps Sketch I was given. I can still remember a few years ago to
the the first sketch I ever used, it was also one of Becky's!

love how something can spark different things in each person, I am
now totally a fan of sketches for sure.

Here is the one I was given for my assignment:

I was really excited when I saw the one one I had received, I love
how simple it is and the photo grid in the center.

I chose to use a square, four photo grid instead of three like in the sketch.
this layout is for Brady's PL album and I already have lots of journaling about this day so it really wasn't needed.

Since the border of tickets didn't really suit my theme, I decided to use the ant paper from the Patriotic Parade collection in it's place. Because what's more "boy" than bugs and dirt?? I also used it in place of the bow tied at the top of the pictures.

In the pictures my son had been building sand hills for his monster truck to drive over.  I used some of the neutral colored paper from the Kraft In Color collection and a large scallop punch to make "hills'.
I think this is one of Brady's new favorite pages, and if he likes it I am one happy momma.
Using the sketch was a HUGE time saver, it still lets you use your own style and creativity but with a very helpful jumping off point. Thank you Becky for all your inspiration!
