Happy St. Patrick's Day Layout by Vicki Boutin

Happy St. Patrick's Day my Doodlebug friends!

It's Vicki here with two projects celebrating this very special day in the Boutin house.  It isn't special just because we love green and everything Irish.  It is special because it is my son Riley's birthday!!!

So in honour of Riley birthday I created a layout and a card using Doodlebug Design's Happy Go Lucky collection along with every piece of Limeade and green Doodlebug product that I could find!!

 Here is the layout...

1

I started by creating these "peek-a-boo" windows from cardstock and then I cut smaller windows from Sprinkles Vellum and layered them together.  I trimmed a variety of strips of paper and overlapped them on the base of the layout to create the "star bursts" that appear inside each circle. Then place the cut out circles on top of the base of the layout and position the items inside of the circles.

The Happy Go Lucky Icon Stickers are sooooo cute!!  They are the perfect little characters and icons.  I also used Pixies with punched stars (and hearts) on top.

Here is a closer look at each circle...

The Leprechaun 4x4 squares add that special title block touch.  I layered the "lucky" sticker with a Doodles cardstock sticker for the title.  Finish it off with a few Doilies, Paperclips, Sprinkles and Jewels.

Here is a St Patrick's Day Birthday card...

I used a Limeade card base and cut a circle from it.  I cut this cute doggie from Lucky Clovers paper and places it on the backside of the card front.  I cut a circle frame from the Leprechaun paper and added it to the front of the card.

To add a little dimension I pop dotted the pot of gold from the Happy Go Lucky Icon Stickers and layered it on top of the slightly larger pot.

I finished off the card with some twine and Sprinkles!

I hope you get a chance to celebrate St Patrick's day and collect lots of photo memories!!  Happy Go Lucky is the perfect collection to display all of your St Paddy's Day fun!!
