Color Challenge: Bumblebee Framed Art by Amanda

Today's post is brought to you by Doodlebug's bumblebee yellow.  This lovely sunshine yellow makes me smile and brightens up any project.  Inspired by Melinda Spinks halloween-inspired decor, I created a piece of lemon home decor using my favorite bumblebee stickers and embellishments.

This lovely lemon decor makes a fun piece of summer decor.  The kids (and guests) will have fun searching for all of the different shapes and colors.

To create a guide for the lemon shape, I die cut a lemon from scrap cardstock and lightly traced it with pencil onto my work surface.

I started by placing several large stickers and icons within my lemon shape.  Next, I adhered a bunch of buttons and inserted some brads.

I filled in the remaining spaces with sequins, sprinkles dots, and teeny tiny pearls and rhinestones.

When my lemon was complete, I adhered a die cut stem and leaf and inserted it into an 8"x8" Doodlebug shadow box frame.

Happy Summer

Supplies: Doodlebug cardstock, Doodlebug 8"x8" shadow box, various Doodlebug embellishments and stickers.
