ABOUT AMY RYSAVY
I was introduced to rubber stamping in the summer of 2004. I didn't think much of it until I got my first set of stamps and started stamping my own cards. It wasn't long before I was hooked!
I started scrapbooking in January of 2005. I was *very* nervous about starting! It just looked too difficult and I was afraid I wouldn't be creative enough to make a good page! My first page was a 6x6 and turned out ok. I stuck w/ the 6x6 size for a while as the 12x12 really intimidated me.
Not long after that I started scrapbooking in earnest, I studied layouts (my biggest challenge) and design, color combos etc., and bought a TON of embellishments! I haven't done a *lot* of pages (around 40 12x12 layouts) but I take my time doing them and enjoy every second!
I was originally a SAHM to 2 beautiful little girls. We live in a small town in the middle of the Canadian prairies. In March of 2008 I took courses to become an esthetician and started working out of my home. In September of 2009 I opened my own esthetics salon in town and now work full time outside of the home.
So now my stamping time is limited to weekends and I haven't scrapbooked in several years. I do plan on getting back into scrapbooking as I really enjoyed it - but for now there just isn't the time.
I now have my own line of stamps under the AmyR Stamps line. They are manufactured by allthatscraps.com and distributed through them as well as through various online retailers and brick&mortar stores throughout the US, Canada and the world!
