2014 Design Team Call Details

We are excited to announce that we are expanding out 2014 Design Team and have opened up a CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS. So if you want every new release from Doodlebug, big boxes of yummy coordinating products, create-a-card products and embellishments galore?? Do you have a love of color, all things cute and glitter then Doodlebug would be the perfect place for you!!

We are a colorful family and love to interact. We have the support of the Doodlebug founder who interacts with us and encourages us daily. We love this company like a family as much as we love glitter! And here is your chance to show us what you've got!!

Here's how to be part of this new team....

Deadline: November 26th by 10:00pm MST

Please email us at with the following information (copy and paste into an email):

  • First, what is your NAME and HOMETOWN/Country?
  • Link to your blog and/or online gallery. We'd also love to know if you are on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and/or Twitter.
  • Send us samples... using a minimum of 75% or more Doodlebug products. We want to see how you work with COLOR and OUR PRODUCTS! ***Scan/photograph and send us one of each of the following: 1-2 Layout, 1-2 Cards and a mini book OR altered item. That's only three total looks, so be sure to send us your strongest creations!!
  • What do you consider your specialty (layouts, cards, altered projects)?
  • Did you know Doodlebug licenses their designs for fabric, so we're always curious who can sew (because we all don't)?
  • Tell us about the CRAFTY you...Link to your scrapbook resume if you have one? Do you teach? Have you been published? Do you or have you ever worked at a craft store?
  • What other Design Teams are you part of and when does their term end? (Note: No previous DT experience is required.)
  • Tell us about YOU....what do you love about scrapbooking? What do you love about Doodlebug products and how do you think your style fits with DB. Why do you want to be one of the first official DB design team members?
  • Send a profile photo, short bio about you and your shipping address.

Submit to us an HTML blog post introducing our readers to YOU (as if you made the team). Include links to your blog and headshot. Tell them about who you are, what other teama you're a part of (with links), links to your social media outlets AND why you love to create with Doodlebug AND then share your favorite Doodlebug Projects. Include this in an email to along with your contact information.

  • Design Team Term will be for one full-year, Jan. 2014 - Dec. 2014
  • 2-3 Projects Per Month
  • We would prefer to have all assignments submitted in HTML format include short write up, links and close-up photographs. (Don't know HTML, no worries will work with you to help catch you up to speed.)
  • Team members are asked to repost their projects on three different sites (those can include 2Peas,, Pinterest, your Blog and/or your Facebook) and tag or link to Doodlebug Designs.
All Design Team applications must be received
within 3 weeks, by Nov. 26th before 10:00pm MST
to be considered. If selected you will be 
 notified via email and the new team will be 
announced here on our blog.
