Holiday Cards

Hey there Elizabeth here to talk about the 3x3's!
All I can say it total cuteness! Aren't these adorable cards just the cutest thing! The first thing that came to mind for me is that I could make a bunch of them and stick them in Alyssa's lunch bag every morning for her! They are small enough and easy enough to pump out a bunch of them so I can have them ready for just that!  I really loved the different shapes they came in and the cute coordinating envelope is just darling too! Here's what I created using them:
You can even use these for Valentine's Day cards for your children's school this up and coming year! They were so fun to create with!!!

Tuesday Tutorial: Halloween Bookmarks

Hi! Kathy Martin here today with a very simple and fun Halloween bookmarks project using Doodlebug's adorable new 3x3 Create-A-Cards.

Since our kids get more candy at Halloween that they can possibly eat, I like to create alternative goodies like these bookmarks and I think you will love how quick and easy they are to make!

Using the new 3x3 Create-A-Cards, cut in half diagonally.

Using a 3" length of a Fancy Frills border sticker, fold in half along the open edge of your card to seal. Each card will make two bookmarks. One of the bookmarks will have to be sealed on two sides.

This is what the back of your bookmark will look like with the Fancy Frills border sticker attached.

Now you can decorate your bookmark with papers and accents from Doodlebug's Haunted Manor collection. On a couple of my bookmarks, I started with a Cute Cuts die for a background and attached it to the bookmark with adhesive foam tape for dimension.

Layered over the Cute Cuts, I added some Icons Cardstock Stickers using more adhesive foam tape. I also added google eyes to all the Halloween spooks.

A little Doodle Twine was used for the tag on one bookmark and the spider on another.

These bookmarks are very versatile, you could make them for any holiday or occasion! Hope you enjoyed the tutorial and create some spook-tacular bookmarks!

Tuesday Tutorial: Haunted Home Decor by Ro

Today I would like share with you a cute home décor for Halloween. You could win this new collection from Doodlebug, scroll down to learn more.

Here's the Tutorial:

Step 1 – You will need:
  • modeling paste
  • 4empty Match box
  • Canvas 8”x 12”
  • Black cans spray paint
  • painting knive
  • The amazing Haunted Manor Collection

Step 2 – First I texturized the frame of the 8"x12" reverse canvas, using modeling paste and a painting knife.

Step 3 - After the gesso dries, I apply the black spray paint.

I recommend that you do this in a box to avoid the mess that's around, preferably outdoors because of the smell of paint can is very strong.

Step 4 - I don't fully painted it, I left half shaded.

Step 5 - And I also painted matchboxes that were so.

Step 6 - And then I decorated the small boxes, leaving them open, and I decorated the inside too.

Step 7 РAnd here is my Halloween home d̩cor
