FARMHOUSE BARN SHAPED MINI ALBUM | with Jen

I love shaped mini albums. I've made them for years with my Cricut. One of my favorite projects was my barn album using Doodlebug On the Farm. But I made it years ago and it was probably the second album I'd done that was my own design that wasn't ring bound. I've learned a lot since then. So when I saw the adorable barn in the Odds and Ends for the Farmhouse collection I knew it was time for an upgraded version.

The Doodlebug SVG files available in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop are always amazing and this little Farmhouse -Barn SVG was no exception. I cut the base from chipboard using my Cricut Maker and the barn elements from the Farmhouse Coordinating Cardstock. I decorated with the Odds and Ends. And why yes, there is a goat on the roof (A very goat thing to do!)

Inside I've added some frameless shakers to make sure I got to use the new Shades of Fall and Fall Flowers shaker mixes.

I made a couple of simple layout pages and used Doodle-Pops and Bits and Pieces to decorate.

There are lots of flaps and pockets and places for pictures. I also make sure to cut apart the cute large tag paper and add some seam binding for some journaling and picture spots.

FARMERS MARKET TINY ALBUM | with Jen

Doodlebug Icons are some of my favorite embellishments. Whether they are puffy, mini, or full size they make decorating a project easy and fun. With that in mind I made a Mini Mini Album.

The album measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" for the chipboard covers that I wrapped with the 12" x 12" falling leaves paper. The interior pages measure 4" x 4". I punched holes in both and used colored binder rings to assemble the album.

One some pages I expanded the page base 4" x 7" to include a flap for the 3" x 4" journaling cut-aparts from the collection. I also expanded a couple of pages to 4" x 6" to add the tags from the garden tags paper to the flap.

I matted the pages using the 6" x 6" paper pad. I decorated with Icon stickers, Mini Icons, and Puffy Icons.

I used some fun elements from the Bits and Pieces pack and some more tags from the tag sheet in the pockets. I used a couple of Doodle Pops and two tone ribbon to finish the book.
