Hi crafty friends! Nice to see you all pop by! Today I am so happy you're here so I can show you the latest project I've created with the brand new Cupcakes & Candles collection! I do have a YouTube video tutorial on how I made my own envelopes without a template or die, I added the link below. And as a bonus, I have a video showcase of today's project at the end of my post as well, so be sure to stay tuned!
For each envelope, I used some of the sweetest papers! Be warned, each pattern is super adorable and you'll be spoil for choice. I've grabbed the Birthday Bouquet, Sweet Sprinkles and Surprise Party for the outside of the envelopes and then Colorful Confetti, Balloon Banquet and Cute Cakes for the linings. Darling choices!
Once I built each of my envelopes, the really fun part began...decorating them! I love to layer and create clusters. For this I used lots of foam rectangles and pop dots to build dimension and texture. I find that Doodlebug has the best ephemera packs on the market! Each pack is literally bursting with all the different size pieces you can use on any project! Scrapbooking, cardmaking, home decor, happy mail and the like. The confetti and banner pieces are adorable! And there you go crafty friends. A fun project for you to recreate!
