Hello friends! Traci here and today, I have a super fun Christmas project for you that uses the fabulous Tinsel Time Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. This cute little scrapbook would be perfect for your holiday photos, and ... a great Christmas gift idea!
The 5x7 inch chipboard album is a blank canvas and features two covers, a roof top piece, four dividers, and four pages - giving you 16 pages in total. I could not wait to fill this mini out with Tinsel Time cuteness!
To start, I covered the front of the house in the 12x12 Festive Floral plaid paper. I wanted to add shingles to my roof, so ... I used the Home Sweet Home Doodle-cuts (metal dies) to cut them out of the pistachio Tinsel Time print and 1 row out of the Berry Merry polka dot. I lightly inked the edges of the scallops with a little Pinkfresh mint ink to give the scallops a bit of dimension.
This little house needed some holiday sparkle so I added Christmas lights just under the roof line. I used mini jewels in lily white and the enamel star shaped Holiday Magic sprinkles. Since Santa is sure to visit this cute home, I added the sleigh and reindeer mini icon stickers 🎵 "up on the rooftop"🎵. They're the perfect size!
I also used the Home Sweet Home doodle-cuts dies to cut out the window panes, front door, planter boxes, and plants inside them. I used a mix of 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers and I love the extra dimension they add. Then, I embellished the front with lots of adorable mini icon stickers. This was SO fun!
Inside, I covered each page with pretty 12x12 patterned paper. Above, I used 2 tags from the Gift Giving print, a journaling card from the Christmas Candy print, and some die cuts from the Odds & Ends / Bits & Pieces. Then, I added 2 Christmas Candy sprinkles and lots of enamel glitter dots.
I love adding more photo space to my mini album pages, so here I used a 4x4 card from the Happy Holly Days paper to create a little flippie with room inside for 2 pictures. On the front, more gorgeous sprinkles.
This reindeer is so cute! I think he's my favorite die cut with his fancy antlers, red bow, and little pink bell.
Wait ... maybe the fireplace is my favorite! Lol! The mantel has such cute details with the tiny houses, trees, and stockings. And yep, that itty bitty garland needed some glitter dots too. Everything needs glitter dots!!!
Here's a great page for a picture with Santa. Tuck it behind these fun die cuts from the Odds & Ends (Santa), Bits & Pieces (string lights), and Chit Chat (Santa word). And don't forget the Twinkle Lights shape sprinkles!
Above, I cut a little free form shape to create snow under the Odds & Ends die cut. Since Santa's sleigh is so magical, I added some Holiday Magic shape sprinkles and enamel dots around it.
Pockets are another great way to add space to your mini album. I made this one with a cute card from the 12x12 Dashing Deer paper and tucked in a journaling card from the Christmas Candy paper and 2 die cut pieces from the Odds & Ends. The die cuts are white on the back so you can journal on them as well.
Hold on, there's more! I also made the front of the pocket a flippie so you can add 2 photos inside.
Can you tell I had fun creating this cute mini album? I absolutely love the Tinsel Time Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. I hope this project inspires you to create one too! Happy scrapping and merry Christmas everyone!
