PARTY TIME BIRTHDAY CARDS | with Karen

"Cel-e-brate good times, come on! Let's celebrate!" The new Party Time collection from Doodlebug just makes me want to sing and dance and throw a party - and that is saying something since now a days, I don't even want to get out of my pyjamas (if you know what I mean). Lucky for me, I can have a party on my crafty table with this collection and stay in my pyjamas too (but don't tell anyone)! The first stamp set I cracked open was Birthday Boy! It is really a sweet set with lots of possibilities. I decided to create 3 cards, from simple to more complex. So let's have a look! The first card was this simple little creation using only 4 products - a card base, a stamp and coordinating die, some pieces from the Chit Chat set and some Sprinkles. I love that while this card isn't busy with layers, it still packs a visual punch! The second card used the same products, just with some added patterned paper layers from the 6x6 pad. The dies cut still makes this an easy card and while it only features one stamp there are enough elements on the card that you don't get bored looking at it! And the last card only differs from others in that I did some stamp masking to create the little scene. But if using the die cuts is easier for you, just cut out the little baker and the cake and place one over top of the other.

Together, they make a fun, bright set that will have your crafty space singing and partying too! I guarantee it!
Thanks for stopping by!
