I have a hard time using a pattern paper like this as a full background so I trimmed off the paper at an angle from the top and a piece from the bottom. This will allow me to still use a good amount of this paper and let it shine without it taking over the whole layout. I really like to have some white space on my layouts and a design like this really lets me accomplish that.
I printed my photos out in black in white to help the colors in the pattern paper really pop. I love how the red in this layout stands out. The photos are of my oldest baby Drake who will be 21 at the end of this month and our youngest baby Liam Jay who is 2 years old! Liam loves when his big brother Drake stops by during the day to see us! Recently Liam has been saying CHEESE when we take his photo and closing his eyes! It is so cute so I had to document it and this collection is perfect! I added some Love Notes odds & ends to embellish around the layout. I also added one of the mini love notes to start my title. I stuck in the little note that says I Love you and I added the chit chat piece Always. Here is a look at my completed layout using the Love Notes collection.
