Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail...and right on to a new set of cards I created with the adorable Hoppy Easter collection from Doodlebug. With Easter fast approaching, there is still time to whip up some great cards, and this collection will make it easier than ever to send a card that will make them swoon!
This little set actually features the papers from the 6X6 paper pad for this collection. The icons in this collection are simply adorable and I wanted to feature them in all their cuteness alongside the stamps. The scaled down version of the patterns in the 6x6 was a perfect fit for the A2 cards.
And the stamps - oh, the stamps! Can I just say that I could colour up these cuties everyday! One of the great things about these stamps are all the little "accessories" that come in the set that allow you to create little scenes, like the grass with the egg and the sign post that I used in this image. Created by masking and layering 4 different Doodlebug stamps, I was able to create a stamped image with a sentiment that was unique to this card.
But if layering and masking is not your thing yet, the individual character stamps will have you swooning too! This little trio of bunnies was the perfect way to fill up some space on this card. Together with a sentiment from the Odd and Ends pack, this little card was really easy to put together!
I mean really - I know you want to colour him up?!
So I hope these little cards have inspired you to put together a cute set of cards to celebrate the Easter season. Whether or not you choose to give them away, well that is entirely up to you!
