Anchors Aweigh Collection: Surf, Sand & Sea Double-page Layout by Mendi

Hello Doodlebugs!  It's Mendi here today.  I'm really excited to share my project using Doodlebug's new Anchors Aweigh collection.  As soon as I saw the reveal on this fun new collection I new it would be the perfect match for some photos of our family during a recent Hawaiian vacation!
Since my photos wouldn't all fit on a single page, I made my first double page layout in what feels like a couple years.  I thought cutting my photos in circles to mimic the feel of the bubbles would be really fun!
Circles cut from patterned paper were also the perfect way to ground so many of the darling stickers and embellishments from this happy collection!
I am completely smitten with the Bubble Sprinkles.  In fact I think I need to buy them in bulk as I almost went through an entire package between two double layouts I created--Love how they match so many things and work for both the masculine and feminine versions of these collections.
To create continuity between my two pages, I carried the anchor border with thin pinstripe across both the pages and broke up my title to span both pages.  I love how the large chipper alphabet letters work well to fill up larger spaces like the ones I had to work with.

I hope I've inspired you to create a double page layout of your own using some fun circle elements!  :)
