Introducing 2014 Design Team Members Sharm & Jodi Wilton

We're wrapping up our 2014 Design Team introductions with two more amazing members, Jodi Wilton and Sharm Nidyanandan. We'll start with our designer Malaysia and then hop back up to Canada with today's designers. Enjoy!!

Sharm Nidyanandan
I'm Sharm from Malaysia and I am a stay at home to little girls aged 4 & 1 1/2. When I'm not crafting I indulge in a good book and quite abit of travelling. My idea of a holiday is one that involves sun, sea and sand and lots of shopping (especially when it involves scrappy supplies!) :) I'm married to my sweetheart from college days and we share 10 blissful years together :) (5 yrs of dating and 5 yrs of marriage). I love scrapbooking and I can stay up till the wee hrs of the morning creating little whimsies that make my heart sing & do happy dances :)

I started papercrafting end 2009, after I had my first lil princess. It started off as a bid to keep myself occupied while being a SAHM but soon grew into a very, very addictive hobby!. What I love most about scrapbooking is that it allows me to express myself and provides me with a means of documenting my life day after day with my family. It allows me to create a myriad of projects that my kids can look back at when they're older and cherish the memories they have created with us. I also love all things handmade and scrapbooking allows me to pursue that love. I’m a versatile crafter who loves to try out different techniques and new styles.

Jodi Wilton
Hi everyone! I'm from Fonthill, Ontario, Canada, and I have been married to my husband for 10 years.  We have three amazing kiddos, that keep me on my toes- two girls (9 and 3) and one boy (7).  During the day, I run my own daycare from my home, and have the pleasure of "playing" all day!  At night, you can find me scrapping until the wee hours of the morning! I first starting scrapping in 1998, when I was working on a cruise ship, and I wanted a way to document my travels! I started a journal/trip diary/scrapbook.  My style has changed so much since then, and I find it continues to evolve with new techniques and trends! I describe my style today as being bright and cheery with clean lines, and hint of whimsy in there too! I love all things cute and colorful!

I am feel truly blessed to be designing another year with Doodlebug Design!  It is a great honor to be working next to such a amazing, inspiring team! The best thing though... I get to work with all the amazing Doodlebug Products! Doodlebug Design always blows me away with their innovative and unqiue products while still staying true to their iconic characters. They put the fun in papercrafting and it is always a treat to get to work on a Doodlebug Project! I hope I can bring as much joy and inspiring ideas to the company again this year! Thank you so much Doodlebug for another year, it's going to be full of color, joy and happiness!

Here are three of my favorite projects from the past year:
