We love how versatile this collection can be. Whether you need a Summer BBQ invite, or Summer Celebration card you will find this fun collection the perfect solution.

I'm totally loving the new Mini Pinwheels kit in the Stars and Stripes collection. I knew I had to use one on a card. They're so fun to make, and so cute on cards and layouts.

Happy Birthday Airplane

I love the colors in the new Stars and Stripes collection, and the little plane reminded me of my boys. The adorable Doodle Pop is perfect for boy cards, and the airplane theme works perfectly alongside the stars and stripes.

Let Your Colors Burst
by Amanda Coleman

I {heart} Doodlebug's new Stars & Stripes collection!  At first glance it appears to be solely a Fourth of July collection, but upon further looking, this collection is extremely versatile.  I designed a few cards that are appropriate for events other than the Fourth of July.  Check it:

The Stars & Stripes collection has the BEST airmail stripe print ever!   The colors are so vibrant and they really pop against the white.  I tied this card with some ladybug Doodletwine to resemble a package tied with string.

I am just loving the tiny post mark and bar code on the tiny special delivery envelope sticker.  And how 'bout that bandana washi tape?  To die for!

I made a coordinating envelope by adhering strips of airmail striped washi tape around the border of an envelope.  While that bicycle stamp won't get this card anywhere in the mail, it sure does add some flair to an otherwise plain envelope.

Red, white, and blue quilts are a classic American tradition, so I broke out my 3/4" square punch and created a miniature version for this card.  I adhered the squares to a scrap piece of cardstock and added some diagonal stitching.

The blue Boy Doodletwine coordinates perfectly with the Stars & Stripes collection.

While this card has a more traditional Fourth of July theme, it would be suitable for any occasion where one needed encouragement.

What non-holiday projects would you create with Stars & Stripes?
