SPECIAL DELIVERY CARD SET | with Karen

While Doodlebug may have a recently released a Special Delivery in this adorable new collection, I have as well with a new card set featuring the cutest little babies ever to cross my crafty kitchen table! And considering I don't know anyone expecting right now, you wouldn't think I would be loading up my card stash with baby themed cards. Except I am because I just can't help myself. This collection is just too cute! This little trio of cards features the cute little stamps from the Bundle of Joy stamp set as well as some of the patterns from the 6x6 paper pad. I love the 6x6 paper pad for this type of project because the patterns are scaled down from the 12x12 and really showcase details that can make your card look intricate and delicate! And the stamps - oh the stamps! Colour them up and then cut them out with the coordinating Doodle cuts and you have the perfect card embellishment in no time at all! I used alcohol markers, but any colouring tool with serve you well with these cuties! For a little shine and texture, add a few Sprinkles like these coordinating green ones... ...or even some of the adorable Shape Sprinkles like the adorable moon and stars featured here on this card. You will have a set of cards that will have you hoping for the next baby announcement in your family or group of friends. Heck, you might just put a shout out to anyone expecting just to have an excuse to work with these cuties. But then again really - do we need an excuse to work with our Doodlebug goodies?!
