Hello from Down Under! My name is Melinda Spinks and I'm delighted to be re-joining the Doodlebug Team for 2016. I had actually retired from Scrapbooking half way through 2015 which has probably been the shortest retirement in history... I just couldn't walk away from this beautiful company and the people within, so I'm back!
A little about me... I'm an Australian country girl married to 'The Farmer' with three grass-seeds aged 16, 10 and 3. We live a simple yet incredibly busy life on the farm which is forever changing with each season that comes and goes. And as time goes by so quickly I feel it's paramount to create and preserve as many memories along our journey so we have something to look back upon and remember... we had fun, we laughed, we cried, we argued, we fought, we loved and we lived!
I was blessed with a crafty Mum who taught me to knit, crochet, sew and cook so have always had a love of making fun creations, especially ones you can eat. I also love to take photos, hate ironing, love baking, despise clowns, love to read, can't stand listening to anyone chew, love gardening but suck at it, enjoy reading and going to movies, loathe early mornings, love playing my piano, can't stand being cold and lastly... enjoy time with friends and family.
