Handmade Notepads for Planners | with Anabelle

One of the things I love about being a creative planner is making accessories to go with my decorated pages. Today I'm going to share how I make little notepads that I tuck into my planner. They are small and have just enough pages to jot down any extra notes that I may not need to list on my planner pages. The decorated note pads fit perfectly inside my planner. I just clip them to whichever page I am using. The Jelly Clips are perfect for doing this.

To start off, I cut a bunch of plain white printer paper to 3 by 8 inches. I like to have about 6 strips in each notepad, so I cut accordingly. Then, I choose patterned paper for the covers. I trim those down to 3.5 by 8.5 inches.
After that, I fold them in half and stitch the top part to create the notepad. If you don't have a sewing machine, simply stapling the paper will work. Add patterned paper or washi strips over the staples to finish it nicely.
This note pad has a Doodle Pop sticker on the cover. I added  larger elements and some of the Fancy Frills along the bottom. They were quick and simple to make!
Here are the other pads. I love making extras to send to planner friends or to just throw in my purse if need be. I used a combination of stickers and Die Cuts along with the Fancy Frills on these. Of course, the Sprinkles are the perfect accent, too!

These little notepads are super easy to make and are the perfect accessory for your planner. I hope you have fun making some for yourself. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
