Mix it Up Challenge: Date Night Planner by Jomelle Gomez

Good Morning Doodlebug Fans! Jomelle here today and this is my last blog for the year 2017. This year has been wonderful. I cannot wait for new adventures in 2018. I want to share with you my "Mix-it-Up" Project.
I wanted to create a TN set up for my Date Nights with my husband. I made covers for my inserts and I decorated them. I decided to use my Favorite Collection Cream and Sugar and I mixed it up with the Fairy Tales Collection.

I'm really excited to fill the pages with all our dates and make my TN super chunky.
As you may already know, I love decorating my pockets with all kinds of odds & ends and other cute things.
Since we have a 2 year old daughter who is very attached and very clingy to both of us, we rarely have alone time. My 14 year old son was able to watch her while hubby and I attended a wedding for one of his close friends. We had such a fun night.
Even though we don't get to go out for Date Night, I really do enjoy our Day Date with my hubby and our baby girl Juliet.

 Insert cover I decorated.

I used the 12x12 cardstock to create an insert by cutting it to the standard TN size but I added an extra 2 inches so that I can fold it to make a pocket on the bottom.

Hope you all have a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! Thank you for stopping by. For more inspirations follow me on Instagram @J4Fashion
