Kids Craft Challenge: Travelers Notebooks with your Kids by Kimberly

Hi Doodlebug friends! This week I'm sharing a project my sixteen year old daughter created using Doodlebug products. Much like her mom, my girl is a planner and journal lover. When we were talking about what she'd want for the upcoming school year, she wanted something more portable than the coil bound planner she's been using so she could write in assignments, etc. while in class. I purchased two traveler's notebook inserts for her from one of my favorite Etsy shops -- one is a weekly planner with a week on two pages and the other is a bullet journal insert. This will give her space for dated things in one insert and room to journal in the other. If you have a younger child who just wants a "planner" like mommy, inserts are available with a month on two pages, or just blank paper for drawing, or just a grid for doodling.

A little peek at what she did:

She started by sorting through my stash of goodies.

She traced around the outside of the inserts on the patterned paper she wanted to use. If you have a younger child, you can do this step for your child.

Then lots of adhesives, stickers and die cuts were used.

She had so much fun being unleashed with my supplies and I'm happy knowing she has plans to stay organized and on track this school year. Here's hoping it's a great year for everyone! Kim
