Eater Bunny Layout by Melinda

Oh my... wasn't it Christmas just yesterday and yet here we are with Easter almost upon us? Not that I'm arguing as chocolate rates rather highly on my list of life's necessities and I do believe my littlest man agrees with his mum!

These photos were taken last Easter and have been on my 'to do' list ever since. So when the new Easter Parade collection hit my desk I did a little happy dance at the sight of the 'bitty bunnies' paper. It was just perfect to use as a backdrop to the photos of my very own little Easter Bunny!

I added two main clusters of embellishments that would draw the eye around the layout and in keeping with the Easter theme I used lots of sprinkles, sequins and brads to give a lolly shop feel to the layout.

My title work was created using lots of alphas as I always seem to have sheets and sheets of oddments that don't really make full words. So I created a title within a random selection of alphas which used up quite a few of my leftovers.

Now that I have finished last year's Easter photos I need to think about getting ready for the impending Easter of 2015... or perhaps I'll just leave it until the day before like I do most other years. Thanks for stopping by today and hopefully I have giving you some ideas to take with you.

Easter Basket ID Tags by Wendy Sue

Hello Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here with you today, sharing a fun little project that is sure to make the Easter Bunny (and your kiddos) happy!  If you have more than one child, and your children have identical Easter baskets, it might be confusing to the Easter Bunny and difficult for him to know which basket belongs to which child.  But, believe me, the children know which basket is theirs...so to avoid tears on Easter morning, trust me, labeling the baskets with cute little name tags is a VERY good idea!

If you're going to make name tags to label the baskets, you should definitely make them cute! And I'm pretty sure there isn't anything cuter than these little bunnies and lambs in the Easter Parade collection.

To make these cute little tags, I simply started out with some fun papers from the "Hello Sunshine" and "Easter Parade" collections.  I chose a fun tag shaped die to cut the base for each tag.  Of course, you could simply cut rectangles and notch the top two corners as well.

Next, I cut a couple of coordinating patterned papers and layered them on the tags.  I wanted them to be flush with the left edge, but not cover the entire tag all the way to the right side.  I added a cute bright glitter sprinkle to each little paper collage.

The next step was to choose four of the cute little easter critters from the sticker sheet.  Since I have three boys and one girl, I was happy there were enough boy animals!  I placed foam adhesive squares on the back of each animal sticker and added them over the layered papers.

I pulled out my favorite letter rub-ons, the jack & jill alphabet, and added names to each tag.  After that, I simply clipped a colorful mini clothespin onto each tag and tied a coordinating bow with doodle twine.

We haven't even purchased our Easter baskets for this year yet, but as soon as we do, I'll be tying the tags to each basket so the Easter Bunny will know which treats to leave in which basket!

Happy Easter!

Easter Sunday Layout by Tya Smith

Hi there Doodlebug friends - it's my turn up on the Doodlebug blog today to showcase a fun and festive Easter layout featuring the new Easter Parade line. A fun tradition that I have carried on from my own childhood  is to get a fancy new outfit for Easter Sunday. I loved going shopping with my own Mom for a frilly, beautiful dress to wear on Easter - so I had to capture the memory and tradition with my own kids.

I decided to make a little Easter scene along the bottom edge of my layout - I cut a grass border out with my Silhouette and then added some eggs and flowers and jellybean stickers from the Icon Sticker Sheet - Oh and I couldn't resist adding some of the darling animals that come with this line as well - 2 darling girly animals and one handsome little guy - just like my own kids :) Bright Glitter Sprinkles were added for a bit of dimension and sparkle.

A cute little bluebird by a birdhouse sticker added a nice touch on the side of my layout.
I then topped it all off with a few banner shapes cut from some of the lovely pattern papers and the Easter Sunday title is from the 4x4 Bunny and Friends pattern paper. I love using these for titles - so handy!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
