Christmas Town Planner Pages | with Jennie

I love Christmas!  I am sure most people feel this way, too. However, one of the things I love about the holiday [in addition to friends, family, festivities, etc.] is papercrafting, memory keeping and planning!  I get to use the festive papers, die cuts and stickers to document all the things going on and it's SO inspiring. I just love it! To start my December off right, I've decorated the monthly view in my travellers notebook insert and I'm hooked.  The Doodlebug Christmas Town collection is just perfect for the holiday AND my travellers notebook!  Let's not talk - let's take a look!

The traditional colors and icons are made even better with a fun twist, that is where Doodlebug SHINES.  I kept this page fairly simple because it's going to be the overview for the month and I didn't want to over do it.  I wanted to be able to keep track of all the goings on -- and not be too distracted.  [I'm not sure it's possible with all of this CUTE!]
I did add a little bit of decor, and I think it's the perfect balance with the Teensy Type stickers -- which keep me organized and straight on what day is which. [And, don't they look cute?!] Theres a lot of to love and I cannot wait for December to get here!

Christmas Town Traveler's Notebook | with Anabelle

When my beautiful, red Daily Doodles Traveler's Notebook arrived, I was so excited. It's amazing. The color, the scallops on the cover, the pockets and the inserts are all top quality and gorgeous. I knew that I wanted to use it for my holiday planning. Christmas Town is the perfect collection for setting it up. I had so much fun putting it together and can't wait to start using it.

I decided to use the red, green and black buffalo checked inserts. The colors are perfect with this collection. I added some trim to the edges for some fun texture. I love how it gives my TN some awesome 'side game'. Then. I set up my pockets and dash. This is my favorite part of decorating!

I added several cute die cuts to the pockets and added the sprinkles to the pocket and as decorations. They look like little Christmas candies, don't they?

I decorated the cover of the black and white insert. I love the contrast with the bright colors of the kit. Using the sprinkles and some foam adhesive really gives this dashboard lots of texture and design interest. I love that little squirrel, too!
Since I love planner clips so much, I decided to create a little holder for them. I cut a  piece of paper to 3.75" by 12". I folded the top to create a flap to slide into the back pocket of the TN. Then, I just fan folded the paper and stitched the flaps into place.
Here are a couple of close ups from the side to show you how I did it.

Now I'm ready for the holidays. I can't wait to use my decorated Traveler's Notebook!
Thanks for stopping by!
