HOMETOWN USA MINI ALBUM WITH CHARMS | With Traci

Hello friends! Traci here and today I have a cute mini scrapbook titled God Bless America that I created with the colorful new Hometown USA Collection. These patriotic papers and embellishments are perfect for highlighting your fun photos of the 4th of July holiday.

I designed this with my 6x6 inch red acrylic mini album, but you could easily make this out of card stock or chipboard instead. On the cover, I cut different sized star shapes out of the acrylic using the Special Delivery cutting file called Moon and Stars.

I added the adorable July 4th Doodle-pops just behind the largest star on the first page and it fit perfectly!

On the top ring, I added the Just Charming Charm Clip and Keychain titled Land That I Love. With its hearts and stars, I think it's so fun and "just charming".

Inside, I covered all of the white pages with cute prints from the 6x6 paper pad. In the photo above, I created a flippie (aka a fold-out card) with a 3x4 card from the 12x12 Blast of Blue paper. I love the little Statue of Liberty. She has that cute round face and smile that is perfectly Doodlebug!

Above is another fun flippie. These are great for adding more photos to mini album pages and Doodlebug's cards are perfect for creating them.

I love a good pocket for holding cards and extra photos. I made this one with the Polka Dot Pride print. It has so many great stars, scallops, hearts, and the cutest little July 4th images. On the front, I added the bakery die cut from the Odds & Ends. Then inside, I added lots of journaling cards for writing or to use as photo mats.

I added lots of adorable Odds & Ends die cuts to every page. On the page above, there are balloons, fireworks, and a cute little blue bird. Doodlebug added silver metallic foil to this collection so the papers and embellishments shimmer!

I added two adorable flippies to this page. One folds up and the other folds down and they meet in the middle. These 3x4 cards are from the 12x12 Summer Celebration paper. Fireworks, flags, and ice cream trucks ... perfect for the holidays.

I love using the top edge of the tags as a decorative element and the Tag You're It! paper has so many pretty colors and patterns. I cut the top edge off and fussy cut around the tag shape, then ... added it along the side of my folding page. Easy and so, so cute.

This DIY July 4th Album Kit titled God Bless America will be available in my Artsy Albums shop tomorrow (Friday) if you're looking for a more guided project. I hope you have a great day and have fun playing with this adorable Hometown USA Collection!
