Hello | Happy Mother's Day Mini Album by Traci

Sometimes coming up with a unique gift for mom on Mother's Day isn't easy, but what mom doesn't love photos of her children, grandchildren, and family?  So for my project, I created a mini album using lots of gorgeous pieces from the new Hello collection.

Aren't the colors and pops of gold in this collection pretty?  For my album, I used a binder from Simple Stories and created my own 5x7 pages.

Inside I layered papers from the 6x6 paper pad with lots of die cuts and 3x4 cards.  

These sprinkle shapes with bits of shiny gold are one of my favorite things in this collection!

In addition to the die cut Odds & Ends, I also used some of the fun new Chit Chat pieces throughout the album.  These are perfect for page titles and sentiments.

The large die cuts are fun for tucking into pockets, along with photo tags.

Doodlebug's plaid paper always makes me so happy...and hopefully this little album will make a very special mom very happy.  This album WILL be available as a DIY kit or premade in my Artsy Albums shop.  For more details on this, please visit my blog.

Hello | I'll Love you Forever Layout by Caroli

The new Hello collection is not only beautiful but has such a wonderful versatility as it can be used for numerous different topics: friendship, new house, birthday... and of course motherhood related, and this is the subject of my layout today.

I created a layout featuring my two kids and a this sweet lullaby that fully represents what I feel about my little ones. Now that both of them are growing up and turning into a big boy and a little miss, I feel that no matter how old they grow, they'll always be my little babies. 

I went for an "all over the page" design, with two embellishment clusters and my tittle around them. I created the title using some Teensy Type alphas in white and a few words cut using my Silhouette Cameo and "Happy Together" free font. 

I love all the gold accents in this collection, and those heart shaped sprinkles are fabulous! They look like liquid gold.

Journaling is always such an important part of my layout, and in this case I chose to hand write it in the middle of the page because it was the only free space I had after creating the embellishment clusters and title. I wasn't too sure about this, but I really love how this came out. I think it makes the page  look cohesive.

This is a sweet and colorful layout that documents a happy feeling for me and my kids. I'm glad I was able to use this pretty collection for this layout. I hope you got inspiration form this project and now are thinking about a nice quote or lullaby to use in your layout! Biggest hugs

Hello | Mother's Day Planner Spread by Nathalie

The new Hello collection is so pretty that I couldn't wait to prep my planner for next week with it, and it is absolutely perfect for a Mother's Day themed spread!

I first reached for the packed-to-the-brim Odds & Ends bag and, showing amazing restraint, selected just a few die-cuts. I also pulled pieces from the Chit Chat pack, a couple of teensy type alphabets, fancy frills sheets, shape sprinkles and mini icons stickers. Let's look at a few closeups:

Aren't the colors in this collection amazing?! Here, I paired the "Happy" from the Chit Chat pack with some teensy type alphas in bubblegum and underneath I added some adhesive rhinestones (also from the collection) on top of a die-cut bouquet to give it depth and shine. I love the result!

The adorable Doodle-Pops phone will remind me to call my mom! And did you notice the gold foil touches throughout these embellishments? They are gorgeous!

I didn't even mention the washi tapes or the Jelly Clips but they are probably my favorites ever! I fell in love with the navy floral washi below called "Garden Party" as soon as I first saw it! 

If you like to decorate your planners, I highly recommend you check out this collection! It includes so many fun elements in many different scales so it works great for any size planner plus... it's just too pretty to pass up!

Next week is bound to be a wonderful week! Just looking into my planner will make me happy!
