Wine Bottle Tags featuring Santa Express Collection

Hey Doodlebug friends! Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here. Today I have a really fun gift idea (using the new Santa Express Collection) for the holidays to share with you!

These wine tags were super quick and easy to create and they make a great addition to a wine bottle given to a hostess. I used a Wine Tag Die from Jaded Blossom to make the base of my wine tags.

The adorable new Doodlepops and stickers in this collection made decorating the tags super cute and easy. All I added was some of the Doodlebug colored doilies and some patterned cardstock in the background.

I used the Doodlebug Doodle stickers to add 'Merry Christmas' sentiments to each tag.

Of course I couldn't neglect my sequins....

The Santa tag was made using Doodlebug stickers that I popped up using foam stickers on the back. I doubled up the foam stickers on the Santa to make him stand out a bit more than his sack.

I hope you loved my projects today! I can't wait to give these to my friends and family over the holidays!! Thanks for stopping by!

Winter Wonderland Wreath

When I received my box of new goodies from the sweet people at Doodlebug I fell in LOVE with the Mix & Match Snowmen from the Frosty Friends Collection. These are just too cute and fun - I had to make something that everyone could look at all the time.

I started off with a foam circle wreath (from Michaels) and wrapped it with white yarn (also from Michaels). I secured the ends of the yarn using a touch of glue with a hot glue gun. It probably took me about 15 - 20 minutes to completely wrap the wreath.

Next I picked out a patterned paper for the background in my wreath and cut a circle using my Cameo. Before I glued the paper to the back of my wreath (using a hot glue gun again) I added some snow along the bottom of the circle cut from white cardstock. I choose a few prints from the coordinating 6x6 paper pad to cut out some fun trees and added some sparkle with pretty chunky Doodlebug glitter.

Once I had my background complete, I added my awesome little snowmen onto the front of the wreath. When I put these guys together I layered them using foam stickers to give them really fun dimension. I love that you are able to mix and match all their accessories!

I used the super fun new Mini Clothespins to hold my banner. I love to use them to hold my twine!

My kids were super excited about this project and we are going to love having it on display in our living room!!

I hope you were inspired to create today!! Thanks for checking out my project using the super fun Frosty Friends Collection

Friendly Forest: Colorful Fall Layout Duo

Colorful Fall Layout
by Candace Zentner

Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here today! I am so excited to share a layout using the new Friendly Forest Collection! This collection is super sweet animals combined with a great selection of fall colors!

It is so hard to find a fall collection that has hints of more feminine colors in it. I couldn't have hand picked the color pallet better myself!! I had so much fun putting this layout together.

Some of my favorite embellishments in this collection are the leaves from the Mini Leaves & Acorn Craft Kit. I paired them with the awesome new clothespins and a pretty twine bow to make a super fun cluster of embellishments.

The super sweet animals in this collection just melt my heart and the fact that they come in Mini Doodlepops is so exciting. They are just perfect for cards and layouts.

I have been having a hard time using the new Sprinkles with glitter in them but I finally opened them up for this project. They add the perfect touch around titles.

I hope you enjoyed how I used the Friendly Forest Collection today!! I am sure you are all just as in love with is as I am! Happy Crafting!!

Autumn Beauty Layout
by Jodi Wilton

Hi Everyone!  Jodi here today to share with you a layout I created using the fun- Friendly Forest Collection.  Fall is my favorite time of year and once again, I think that Doodlebug Design has knocked it out of the park with this collection! I simply love all the little critters in this collection and I couldn't wait to use them on my project.  I started off my project by picking one of my most favorite photos of my daughter from this past fall. Her shirt reminded me of the patterned paper: Fall Floral in this collection.  I then layered on top of this piece.  Here is the layout I created:

Besides the adorable critters in this collection I also LOVED the trees found on the Icon Sticker Sheet... the colors are awesome, but I love the different shapes!  I used these as my main embellishments on the layout. To create my title I used the new chipboard alpha, which I have to say are my most favorite release this year! I love the size and the font! They are awesome! To spruce them up a bit I did add some bling to them too!

I finally got use the cute little critters, and I added some fall sprinkles on the fancy frills sticker at the top! Love the glitter in these sprinkles!

Thanks for letting me share today!  I hope you are enjoying all of the wonderful Fall inspiration this year!

Ghouls & Goodies: Boo Bash + I Want Candy Layouts

BOO Bash Layout
by Mendi Yoshikawa

Hello Doodlebugs!  It's Mendi here today with a colorful layout using Doodlebug's new Ghouls & Goodies Collection!
I'm always looking for fun ways to incorporate all my favorite patterned papers and with this collection there were many so I decided to create a patchwork border of sorts to show them off and house several of the darling Doodle-pops.  Since my squares were all 1.5" I decided to use mostly prints from the 6x6 pad which was perfect for this!
I was excited to use the new alphabet chippers and doily for my title too!  To add a little detail, I filled each circle with one of darling boutique buttons popped up with foam tape and tied with thread.
I finished off my "journaling" block with a sticker from the This & That sticker sheet and one of the fun new paper clips tied with a twine bow.

I Want Candy Layout
by Candace Zentner

Hi everyone! Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here to share a project today!

Halloween is coming!!! Yippee!! I'm not the biggest fan of the holiday, but I LOVE to make Halloween projects and layouts! My girls always want to be princesses so cross your fingers for me that this year I will have a cute little witch or goblin!

This year's Halloween collection is so super cute!! The Ghouls & Goodies collection has all the amazing stickers, patterned papers, Doodlepops, etc that all the great Doodlebug collections also have PLUS there are new products released recently that come in colors to coordinate with the collection.

As soon as I saw the new cute little character stickers and Doodlepops I knew I had to make a spooky little parade with them. Aren't they adorable?? I popped them all up with foam stickers to make them stand out.

Two of my FAV new Doodlebug products are the Chippers and the doilies in every Doodlebug color. I love how big the Chippers are and they stand our so well on layouts and the doilies are the perfect accent on every project.

The Chippers are chipboard alphabet stickers which means they are already sticky on the back, making them so convenient and easy to use.

I used random patterned papers from the matching 6x6 paper pad from this collection as well as some star dies to make my own little star border.

I hope you were inspired by the amazingly spooky and sweet Ghouls & Goodies collection!!

Color Challenge: Autumn Sweetness in Lilac

Hey crafty friends! Our assignment was to choose one of the great Doodlebug colors and create a project with it. I chose Lilac since I have three little girls and I have a LOT of photos of girls in purple clothing. Plus, purple has always been my favorite color!

I loved these Fall pictures of my youngest cutie but since Lilac isn't a traditional Fall color, I added in touches of gold, brown and green. I used a couple of cute little doodlepops from the Happy Harvest collection. Have you ever seen a hedgehog with earrings?! In the scrapbooks in our house, all animals have earrings because we live in a girl world!

I'm still having a hard time using my gold glitter Sprinkles! They are so pretty and easily one of my favorite colors of Sprinkles

My new favorite Doodlebug supplies to play with are all the font stickers! I find them so easy to use to make creative titles on my layouts with.

I couldn't believe how many different patterned papers there are in each of the Doodlebug colors. It was so easy to pull together enough purple papers to make a great layout.

Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you were inspired by all the Lilac yumminess!

The Graduates: Kinder Grad Layout

It's that time of year again!! Graduations! Candace from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses here and in my household we're getting reading for Preschool and Kindergarten grads. I am so in love with the colors of the new collection The Graduates

Gold is my favorite right now and I instantly fell in love with these super cute little gold owls.

Since there is so many great patterned papers in this collection I knew I wanted to use some dies to make a pattern on my layout. The gold glitter paper is gorgeous!

I also added some of the new to DIE for glitter sprinkles. These are such a MUST have!! They come in the circles as well as stars and arrows!

I used some foam stickers under my owl to make sure he stood out on top of his books, next to my photo. I also love adding little details, such as sprinkles, to my stickers to make them even more amazing.

This collection was so fun to play with! I hope my layout has inspired you today!
