Hey friends! Today, I have another fun project for you using the adorable My Happy Place Collection, a Shadow Box Kit and one of my acrylic albums. This little scrapbook is perfect for photos of family, friends and fun times spent close to home.
I
started by cutting two 8x8 inch covers out of black acrylic but you could use chipboard or card stock for these instead. Then I cut a 7.25 inch circle window out of the front cover that's just the right size for the round sticker collage.
Look how cute this is with the rhinestone gems and the little enamel sprinkles! I love all the details.
Have you had a chance to play with a Shadow Box Insert Kit yet? If not ... I highly recommend! The kit comes with a circle template, card stock, vellum and tons of stickers to create this collage. It's so much fun. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it. I'm a big fan of these, I've used them in 4 different albums now.
The pages inside are filled with My Happy Place cuteness. This one has a folding element for extra photo space. When you flip open the side panel, it looks like this ...
I added die cuts from the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat. I love the house with the flower covered roof and that yellow polka dot car. Wouldn't this mat be perfect for a family photo?
The colors and patterns in this collection are awesome. I love the pink flower paper next to the Love Grows Here print I used on the pocket above. Those little houseplants are so much fun.
I also added some 4x4
element cards to the pocket. You can add photos to the backside of these
or use them for journaling.
This collection is beautiful - the colors are bright and cheerful and it has everything you need to highlight your family photos. It even has die cuts for your sweet furry friends!
I hope this project inspires you to create your own scrapbook with this adorable My Happy Place Collection. The instructions for this project are available in my shop and below are all the wonderful supplies used to make it. Happy scrappin'!
