HAPPY HAUNTING FOLIO ALBUM | with Traci

One of my favorite things about crafting is that the possibilities are endless when it comes to being creative.  Paint it, cut it, build it, draw it, glue it, redesign it!  So when it came to this week's project, I was in the mood to redesign it.  I wanted to turn something that is usually used for one purpose, into something different. So, four adorable Doodlebug greeting cards somehow found themselves turned into a mini folio album!  Check it out ....

Here's what I started with ... 4 A2 Stripe Doodlebug cards in beetle black, limeaid, bubblegum, and tangerine.

I glued the back of each card to the flap on the front of the next card.  Once I had my album base, I covered each space in the album with a white mat so all of the fun colors in the Happy Haunting collection would really pop.

Once they were glued together, I made the first beetle black card a gate-fold cover.  I added pattern paper and popped up some boutique buttons and googley eye sprinkles so that twine could wrap around as a closure.

The inside was perfect for one of the cute blocks from the Bewitched paper, that adorable little worm, and a photo mat.

For the next three cards, I adhered the striped flaps down to create pockets.  This is a cute place to tuck the fun tags from the Bits & Pieces package, along with mats for photos.  As you can see, I had a lot of fun with buttons in this mini!

I made a little flip-through video of this fun project.  I hope by watching you'll be inspired to redesign something!  Have fun!
