Family Traditions: Little Pumpkin DIY Shirt & Pillowcases by Courtney

HELLLOOOOOOO out there! :) Have you been enjoying the new Doodlebug Flea Market cut files!?! WE LOVE THEM!!!! Courtney Lee from Court's Crafts here with a new family tradition for us!

So our "assignment" (I always put "assignment"s in quotes as I LOVE to play!!!) was to use Flea Market cut files to create a Thanksgiving 3D project.

At first I was going to make the onesie say "My First Thanksgiving" but then I wanted to use it a ton so I changed it to little pumpkin. :) I thought this would make a super cute hostess gift! If you are going to someone's house for Thanksgiving and they have children from big to little, here are some ideas!

I used the pumpkin from the pumpkins and acorn cut file. Isn't it darling? My little pumpkin looks so cute in this! :)

Here are the pillows and the story behind them. So my cousin's mom made her kids pillowcases for the seasons and they loved them. Now she does it for her kids too. I thought it was adorable and decided to give it a try. The girls LOVE their pillows!!!

These are the first pillowcases I have ever made! I think they turned out so adorable! :) And the girls love love love the iron on pumpkin and acorn.

Here are the three projects together. If you have kids or grandkids, I encourage you to try this! It's SO fun and personal and they will LOVE it!!!

I layered on the iron on just like you would a die cut. Just make sure that you cover the whole image with each layer so that the iron never touches the iron on directly.

This little pumpkin and her sisters LOVE their pumpkin pillows! I cannot wait to make Christmas ones using the Here Comes Santa cut files! :)

Give Thanks Utensil Holder by Tya

Hi everyone - It's Tya and I am here to share with you a fun and festive project. With Thanksgiving being just around the corner - it's time to start thinking about table decor. I have always loved to add a special little something to each place setting so this year I am doing some cute utensil holders featuring the gorgeous Flea Market Collection.

To make these I used my Silhouette to cut out the boxes. I then found a the cute saying and used the Print and Cut feature on the Silhouette. I cut the saying out and put in on a Swimming Pool Gingham -Linen Petite Print.  I added the saying with pop dots to a piece of Quilting Bee pattern paper. I then added a Wheat spring that I also cut with my Silhouette.
I used these Silhouette files:

To decorate the holder I used some Autumn Leaves Mini Doodlepops, an acorn from the Cute Clips set,and a lime green sprinkle . To finish off the box I added 24 inches of Bon Bon Bakers Twine and tied it in a bow around the bottom of the holder.

These were super fun to make and came together rather quickly. Hopefully I have inspired you to make some of these for your very own festive holiday tables ! Happy Crafting and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Hostess Gifts by Corri

Hi everyone! Corri here today sharing a couple of fun hostess gifts for Thanksgiving using the Flea Market Collection combined with some 3d files from the Silhouette Store.
First, I made a  tag to dress up a bottle of wine. You can fine the tag file here in the Silhouette Store.  I cut the flowers from Doodlebug Designs and arranged them on my tag.  The sentiment is trimmed from the Flea Market 6 x 6 paper pad.
For my second project, I cut this cake slice box by Lori Whitlock with my Cameo from the gigham Petite Prints and embellished my cute box with die cuts from the Flea Market - Odds & Ends pack.
This box could hold a small piece of pie or cake or you could fill it with candy.  There are so many possibilities for projects when you combine 3d files with die cuts and paper from the Doodlebug Designs Collections.
