BUTTERFLY KISSES DREAM FOREVER LAYOUT | with Tarrah

The Butterfly Kisses collection is so gorgeous with its whimsical elements and color. I have really enjoyed working with this collection and hope you enjoy it too!

I have created a fairy tale-inspired layout today featuring the Butterfly Kisses collection together with some Over the Rainbow mushroom cut files. I chose to document a sweet photo of my nieces when they were younger and playing dress up!

I used my Silhouette Cameo machine to cut out the mushroom cut file pieces and built the mushrooms once all the pieces were cut out. I added florals from both the Odds and Ends and Bits and Pieces packs to bring in that natural, garden feel that ties everything together. I also added tiny flower puffy stickers, butterfly puffy stickers and the adorable pink snails puffy stickers, I mean how cute right?! I placed my photo over the top of one of the mushrooms using craft foam to add dimension to the page.

For the title, I grabbed two pre-made ones from the Chit Chat pack – “Dream and Forever.” It felt perfect for this layout, as it reflects how in my photo, my nieces are dressing up as princesses. I want them to continue dreaming they are princesses forever! The two different fonts are also the perfect size and color for the placement below the photo too.

To complete the look, I used a few stickers from the This and That sticker sheet and some sprinkles, adding cute little accents like hearts and tiny flowers. These just made the whole layout feel more playful and fun.

I had so much fun creating this whimsical layout using the Butterfly Kisses Collection and the Over the Rainbow Mushroom Cut Files. I hope you are enjoying all the creations the design team are creating using the Butterfly Kisses collection. Happy crafting!

BUTTERFLY KISSES ABSOLUTELY YOU TICKET MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Happy May crafty crew! How fast has the first four months of the year gone by! Welcome to the blog today, nice to see you :-) For my next Butterfly Kisses project I created a ticket mini album.  I adore this shape and it's so easy to recreate by using a 1" circle punch.  Simply cut your pages to be 6x4" and then notch each corner and the top + bottom of each page and then you have ticket pages, yay! Stay tuned for ALL the pages in the video showcase at the end!

Hi there sweet little froggy! You look so sweet amongst the Butterfly Kisses Doodle-pops! My mini album is titled Absolutely You, and is designed as a cute gift for Mother's Day or Galentine's gift. You can even recreate this for yourself!

I love the details of layering puffy stickers, odd's & ends, chit chat and bits + pieces ephemera alongside the icon stickers, with each Doodlebug collection, there is just so much to create with! You will never be short of having things to use! I also loved making my own tabs for this album, once you learn, you'll want to tab everything :-)

I adore the spring colours in this collection alongside all the sweet faces, icons and characters.  It's hard choose a favourite right! You'll also love that Doodlebug have coordinating cardstock bundles as well, which means crafting is made easier for you.  Fun!

Have you seen the new puffy sticker addition? They're the Puffy Words! Say what? I know, they are super fun and I loved using them and mixing and matching words; that's the best part of crafting, you cannot make mistakes, everything is trial and error in a good way ;-)

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle doo!   Enjoy the video showcase!

BUTTERFLY KISSES DOUBLE Z-FOLD CARDS | with Tya

Hello crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a fun design team project featuring the absolutely adorable Butterfly Kisses collection. I also feature 3 of my favorite things - fun fold cards, Doodle-pops, and the new Puffy Words stickers. Today, I will be showing you these six cute Double Z fold cards that were a breeze to put together! Let's Go!!!

I used the new 6x8 paper pad, some Textured Cardstock, then lots of Doodle-pops, twine, and like I said, the new Puffy Words stickers. These products are a card maker's dream come true, and make putting these together a breeze!
Take a look at how cute the Puffy Word stickers fit perfectly on this little hidden sentiment section when you open up the front of the card! Too cute!

Here are the six cards that I made. As you can see, each of the front panels is decorated a little differently based on the theme of the Doodle-pop. I also used two scallop rectangle dies to mount some of my Doodle-oops on, as well as the Puffy Words.

I added a bit of yellow ink on some of my panels to make the Doodle-pops pop a bit more and not look so flat against the white panel. On these 2 cards, I did add some die cuts from the Bits and Pieces and Chit Chat ephemera.

On a couple of the cards, I also pulled in some of the 3x4 cut-apart cards found on the Color-Fetti pattern paper. I mounted the matching Doodle-pop on the card. Make sure to check out those cut-apart cards- a lot of times, they match the size of the Doodle-pop perfectly!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you're feeling inspired to create your own fun-filled cards using the adorable Butterfly Kisses collection. Don't be afraid to dig into those Doodlepops (I know we all hoard them lol! ) and use those Puffy Word stickers - they're seriously perfect for adding that extra bit of charm to your handmade cards.  Wishing you the happiest day, and I can't wait to see you all next time for more crafty fun!

BUTTERFLY KISSES HAPPY MEMORIES LAYOUT | with Nathalie

I think we are all crushing over the beautiful Butterfly Kisses collection!  It is such a beautiful combination of color, design, sentiments, and all those lovely butterflies.  It is so perfect to document all sorts of memories; so, today I am using it to create this layout:

I had an idea on how I wanted this page to look, and pretty much it came as I had dreamed it.   A selection of papers -with a twist-, a large photo, butterflies and color.

I started by cutting strips of papers from the 6x8 paper pad, and also the 12x12 papers.  I made sure that I had a combination of pattern and solid in all of them.  Then using a thin straw, I started rolling the ends of the strips -the look is that of papers unrolling from the left to right of the page.   I then attached them to the coordinating cardstock so that they overlapped on the page.

I backed my photo with a paper from the 6x8 paper pad, and adhere it to the left of the paper strips (the unrolled end of them).   I decided to create clusters on the page so that the flow of the layout follows the paper rolls, that meant adding a flowers cluster at the top right corner of  the photo, and at the bottom of the paper rolls.

To finish my layout, I added a combination of stickers, Chit Chat, Odds & Ends, and Puffy Word stickers to create my title.  I had to bring texture and extra movement to the page, so I added some butterflies and hand stitched trails around them to make sure that they pop, too.

I just love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires you to create with the beautiful Butterfly Kisses collection.  XO

BUTTERFLY KISSES MOTHER'S DAY CARDS | with Kathy

Mother's Day is right around the corner, and Butterfly Kisses is the perfect collection to create some fun cards!  I used the collection to create some pop up cards, take a peek...

I love all the fun florals and of course those butterflies!  For my first card I combined some Odds & Ends and Bits & Pieces to create a fun little garden scene.  The birdie is from the Mini Icons.  I love how all of Doodlebug's collections have a variety of image sizes, it helps when making little scenes!

I made my own sentiment strips to match the collection by printing Happy Mother's Day in Extraordinary font, and cutting the strip to be 1/2" x 3 1/2".  I then cut some notches in the end to make it look like a Chit Chat piece.  I also made the butterfly "float" by adding a piece of clear heavyweight acetate and attaching the butterfly to it.  For a final touch I added some flower garden sprinkles to the front of the card.

For my next card, I wanted it to look like the butterflies were flitting in a flower garden.  I used  Odds & Ends flowers and butterflies to create my scene.  Again I used some clear heavyweight acetate to make it look like my butterflies are actually flying.

I finished my card with another sentiment strip and the cute little lady bug from the Bitty Bugs Shaped Sprinkles as well as some Flower garden and Butterfly Kisses Sprinkles.

The bases of the cards were created with Platform Pop Up Dies from my stash.  They even fold flat and fit int an envelope!  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek.

BUTTERFLY KISSES RESET, REFRESH, REWILD MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello everyone, and Happy International Scrapbooking Day! It's Conny here, and I'm back to share a lovely album using the Butterfly Kisses Collection, which is perfect for celebrating a day full of creativity!

Let's get started!   For the Album Base I cut 3 pieces of chipboard:  2 pieces measuring 8 1/4” x 4” for the front and back covers and 1 piece measuring 8 1/4” x 1 1/2” for the spine.

Next I covered the chipboard.  To wrap the chipboard, I used the Mushroom Meadow paper, cut to 10" x 11 1/4". I used a book cover guide tool, it's helpful if you have one.

I placed the first chipboard piece (8 1/4" x 4") about 3/4" from the left and top edges of the patterned paper.  I left a 1/8" gap, then adhere the spine piece (8 1/4" x 1 1/2").  After another 1/8" gap I adhered the second cover piece (8 1/4" x 4").
Lastly I mitered all four corners, applied double-sided adhesive and folded the edges inward to wrap the chipboard neatly.

I covered the inside of the chipboard with some Rainbow's End paper, cut to 8 1/8" x 9 1/2".

For my album pages, I Used black cardstock. I cut 2 pages at 8" x 8 1/8" and scored each on the 8” side at 3 3/4” and 4 1/4” to create a 1/2” center spine

For my interactive flips: For one of the pages, I added flips that open to the left and right.  I cut 2 pieces of black cardstock to 3 1/2" x 8 1/8".  I scored each on the 3 1/2” side at 1/2”.  Next I adhered these to the left and right edges of the page.  I used magnets to help keep the flips closed.

To add functional pockets I cut 2 pieces of cardstock to 3 1/2" x 5", and scored at 1/2" on three sides (bottom and both sides).  I then folded and adhered them to the bottom inside of the front and back covers.  These pockets are perfect for holding tags, journaling cards, or extra embellishments.

To mat the pages, I used papers from the 12" x 12" and 6" x 8" Butterfly Kisses paper pads.  I cut mats to approximately 3 1/2” x 7 7/8” to fit the black base pages.

Here's how I decorated my cover:  For a beautiful layered effect, I cut black cardstock to 3” x 7 1/2”.  Then I cut pink cardstock to 2 3/4” x 7 1/4”.  I centered the pink piece on the black and adhered it to the cover, leaving a nice border.

I then finished it off with  Doodle-Pops from the Butterfly Kisses and Rainbow Garden packs, and  Enamel dots for texture.. Lastly I added an acrylic title that reads Reset, Refresh, Rewild! from my Inner Creativity Shop.

For finishing touches I added journaling cards to the flip pages for meaningful notes or reflections and Included photo mats in a variety of sizes, such as 2" x 2", 3" x 4", and other custom dimensions to fit my needs.

This album is beautiful and functional—perfect for preserving your memories in style! I can't wait to see your Mini album. Check out my YouTube channel for a quick process Video.

BUTTERFLY KISSES GATEFOLD SHAKER FOLIO | with Jen

Shakers have been my obsession since I started paper crafting. I made a shaker card at a class and was hooked. When I started making mini albums the first thing I did was figure out how to incorporate a shaker element. So when Doodlebug first released their Shakers I was thrilled. THEN we got the Butterfly Kisses Shakers! Heaven!

For my project today I used the Butterfly Kisses Shakers and the Butterfly Kisses Heavyweight Acetate to make the cover of a gatefold shaker folio. The folio measures 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" with a 1 1/4" spine. I added butterflies from the Odds and Ends pack to cover inside and out, positioned so you don't see the back on either side. I also created an acetate belly band as a closure so the cut apart on the front feels like it's floating.

Inside we start out with a large pocket with a little scene built using Odds and Ends. That little frog is just the cutest!

As you open up the flaps inside the folio we have an acetate belly band using more of the Butterfly Kisses Heavy Acetate. I've tucked one of the chunky tag cut-aparts inside.

On the back of that flap we have more picture spots and a couple of smaller flaps as well.

Next, we have some skinny belly bands that hold journaling cut-apart booklets. When you open those up we have more picture space.

On the back of the folio is a small 3x4 waterfall and an acetate box pocket for all your extra photos or keepsakes.

As always I have a full video walkthrough and tutorial!

Have a great day!
