BUTTERFLY KISSES SHAKER TAGS | with Conny

Hello crafty friends! It’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity sharing these sweet shaker tags using the Butterfly Kisses collection. These tags came together fairly quickly and are one of my favorite little projects to create because they can be added to mini albums, pockets, scrapbook pages, or even gifted to someone special.

To start, I cut patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad to 2” x 8” and trimmed heavy clear acetate to the same size. Using my sewing machine, I stitched around both long sides and the bottom edge, leaving the top open to create the shaker pocket.

For the shaker mix, I combined shakers from Garden Party and Butterfly Kisses blends, along with mint, cupcake and lily white shaker balls.  I also added bright pink sequins to create a fun, colorful mix. Once filled, I stitched the top closed by sewing forward, backward, and forward again for extra security.

I added teal eyelets from my stash at the top center of each tag underneath the stitching so the tags would stay secure without pulling the stitching apart. Then I finished them with bright yellow ribbon bows for an extra pop of color.

To embellish the tags, I layered pieces from the Odds & Ends, Chit Chat, Bits & Pieces, and Doodle Pops. I especially love the adorable frogs and butterflies because they add so much dimension and personality to the tags. I also stapled word strips like “Choose Happy,” “Love These Memories,” and “Always Smiling” to add little sentiments throughout the project.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope these tags inspire you to create something colorful and fun with your Butterfly Kisses supplies. XO

BUNNY HOP EMBELLISHED ORGANIZER | with Niella

Hi crafty friends! Thank you for hopping in for a visit today! With a hop, skip and jump away from Easter 2025, why don't you grab a cup of tea and a slice carrot cake and let's get into today's fun and new super adorable Bunny Hop project.  There's a fun video showcase at the end that I know you'll enjoy as well!

I was gifted some of these organization containers from my kind + lovely dear friend Elenore and I knew immediately what I'd do...create the cutest trinket embellishment box ever.  It's a handy 5x5" size and so you can decorate the top like I have using all the cute pieces from Bunny Hop! I love how miss bunny is hoping through the floral wreath.

The Spring colors and florals are my favorite, not to mention the adorable characters. Doodlebug never disappoint with the different ephemera pieces and words in this darling collection.  Bunny Hop is definitely a fan fave!

Did you spot that sweet carrot hiding in the grass? I know, it's stinkin' cute! I've used foam tape to pop this little cluster and of course I love to use the doodlebug branding strip on all my projects! Did you know I never miss doing this.  I love to repurpose!

And look! Inside! All the amazing goodies that you can use on your projects.  I love making dangles and charms and this is such an awesome way to display your trinkets or even gift! Although I would not blame you if you couldn't give this trinket embellishment box away.  It is so SO fun to showcase the cuteness overload!

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle doo!  Enjoy the video showcase!

PRETTY KITTY UPCYCLED CONTAINER | with Karen

It's spring time up here in Calgary. My first blooms are out on my pasque flowers so I decided to honour the occasion with a project inspired by flowers! So it's a good thing there is an amazing new stand alone die cute set called Thanks a Bunch from Doodlebug. Filled with amazing blooms that can be layered, pretty leaf shapes and even some birds, this set will have you seeing flowers everywhere, even if it isn't spring time where you are.

   Box-full

I decided to feature the die cut flowers together with the new Pretty Kitty collection and upcycled a clear container that I had been saving.

  Flowers-1

I cut out the blooms using the Rainbow textured cardstock, keeping each one somewhat monochromatic. I then attached them to the top of a paper wrap that I create with the Pretty Kitty 12x12 paper with some foam adhesive for some more dimension.

  Kitty

And while the project is definitely heavy on the flowers, I also wanted to play with the kitty theme so I added a few sticker elements both on the front and the back of the wrap. I finished it off with a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack and I was all set. The whole thing slides off the container easily so I can fill it with treats. Now, what to fill it with?

  Flowers-2

Well, whether or not you have blooms where you are, I hope these ones brought a smile to your face today! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

OVER THE RAINBOW TREAT BOX | with Miguel

Spring continues, so it's the perfect time to create with the Over the Rainbow Collection!  Just seeing all the cuteness and bright colors, makes my day! Today I used it to decorate this cubed shaped acetate box.

I used the gnome Doodle Pop to decorate the top of my box.  I also love using the washi tape as a ribbon to seal my box!

I also added lots of mini jewels to give it more sparkle and shine!

Inside the box, I added plastic rainbows with chocolates inside ! They go together beautifully!

Thank you for coming to see my project!  See you soon!

OVER THE RAINBOW GOODIE BOXES | with Miguel

I tell you that in México we are not used to holding St. Patrick's Day celebrations,  but I love everything related to it and its colors.  For us, it could work as a theme of good luck and that is why I make these fun goodie boxes to inspire you!

They are transparent boxes that I made with cardstock and mica. and decorated with the colorful Over the Rainbow collection.  I used papers embellishments and washi tape from the same collection to decorate them and the result is incredible!

Inside, I added details such as a beautiful mini notebook since I think it is  very useful!  I also added an acrylic boot that goes perfectly with the theme and of course a decorated pen.

I love the Doodle Cuts that come with this collection.  They play an important factor in my decoration since I decorated my pieces with them and they are beautiful! They are made with Doodlebug's Textured cardstock. I used both the Hello There and Spring Garden Doodle Cuts.

Have fun creating with these beautiful products full of color and incredible designs, see you soon!

OVER THE RAINBOW DESK POCKET | with Niella

Deep in the mossy woodland garden lives the sweetest little village of the Over the Rainbow gnomies; ready to giggle, skip and work all day watching over the busy garden critters and their charming friends! So hello crafty crew, it's Niella here and thanks for popping by today. It's always a pleasure when you visit!

Here I've made the sweetest gnome size 3x3" desk display with a tiny front stitched foam glitter pocket, so cute. To decorate, I used the Over the Rainbow Odds & Ends and the 6"x6" paper pad... and added on some shape sprinkles - super adorable!

Inside there are two back to back storage pockets made from the Petite Prints buffalo check-wood grain 6x6" paper pad for that extra tiny woodgrain effect! You could store anything here,  from stickers, post it notes or even a treat or two ;-) It sits on your desk or display shelf so can hold any treasures you choose. So versatile!

Grab your Over the Rainbow Odds & End ephemera and have fun selecting who you'd like to display in their cute pocket home! With so many sweet & darling characters to choose from you may need to make more than one of these! I've machine stitched around each for extra texture and contrast.

Once you've picked who you are going to put in your front pocket, have fun arranging them and swapping them out! Why not put a photo of your sweet little gnome!

And next time you're out and about potting around your garden or park; keep an eye out...you may very well spot a wee little trail of footprints left by an over zealous wee gnome! Until next time; doodle-doo!

HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER BASKET | with Kathy

Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on it's way!  I have always loved Easter crafting.  The fun pastel colors, the bunnies, lambs and chicks... and let's face it... the chocolate!  I created this fun little Easter basket, along with a paper version of an egg-hunt egg using the Hippity Hoppity Collection.  Take a peek...

I started with this SVG file for my basket.  I cut it from the purple side of the Hippity Hoppity paper.  I love how the plaid pattern looks with the woven basket!  Inside the basket I added a fun little 3D Easter Egg, filled of course with something sweet!

The egg was made using some petite prints and my favorite paper from the collection, the Easter Basket plaid!!

I love how the egg also stands on it's own!

I decorated the outside of the basket with a bunny and flowers from the Hippity Hoppity Odds & Ends.

Hopefully I can resist eating all the chocolate eggs before Easter arrives!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

FAIRY GARDEN ACRYLIC TAB ALBUM | with Traci

Happy Spring everyone!  This is my favorite season of the year so it was easy for me to pick a theme for this week's project  -- sunshine, flowers and rainbows!  And Fairy Garden was the perfect collection!

For this mini, I used an acrylic tabbed album and lots of DoodlePops!  Actually, that adorable sunshine on the cover is a Shaker-Pop called Sunsational.  I also used Double Rainbow because I wanted one on the front cover and one backing it on the inside.  Isn't the little row of hearts cute??  The cloud and hearts are from another Doodle-Pop called Over the Rainbow.

When you open the cover, the pieces on the front cover show through the clear acrylic, so I covered up the adhesive side with additional Doodle-Pops.  This sun is called Fun in the Sun and I just love that sweet smiling face and the epoxy rays.

I used 12x12 and 6x6 patterns from the collection to create photo mats and layers.  I also had fun hunting through the odds & ends to find pieces that back up to each other nicely ... like this snail and mushroom.  There's a lilac snail and a lime mushroom on the other side :)

I wanted a journaling spot in the album so I created a little flippie so photos could hide inside.  They will look really cute on the plaid mats!

Did you see all of those cute shape sprinkles on the tabs?  I think they add a fun touch across the top of the album.  They are from Hello Sunshine, With All My Heart, and Chasing Rainbows.

I hope this Spring album inspires you to create a fun project with Fairy Garden!  Thanks for letting me share my newest mini with you!
