OH WHAT FUN RAINBOW CHRISTMAS TREE BOXES | with Kathy

We are getting close to Christmas, and I've been busy working on all the finishing touches for the holiday.  I always love to add a little something to my table, and these adorable Christmas Tree favor boxes were perfect!

One of my favorite parts of the Oh What Fun collection are the rainbow Christmas trees!  I decided to make my own rainbow forest using this SVG file, along with lots of goodies from Oh What Fun.  The bases of the trees were cut from the Oh What Fun Textured Cardstock pack, and the "trunks" were cut using some Kraft Woodgrain Petite Prints.  I then covered the trees with various papers from the collection.

I resized the file to make some mini trees... I thought they would make fun little place cards.  I covered them with papers from the 6x8 pad, I just love the smaller version of the prints!  I decorated them with some sprinkles and added star toppers using the Christmas Eve Shaped Sprinkles.

I wanted to add some variation to the trees, so I sized the file up a bit to make one larger tree.  I covered it with the limeade checked side of the all spruced up cardstock.  To decorate I added a star I cut using the Deck the Halls Doodle Cuts .  I then strung some of the Christmas Lights Shaped Sprinkles to add some color to the tree.  I finished it with a star sprinkle from the Christmas Eve Shaped Sprinkles.

The best part of these little trees... they hold some hidden treats!  These would also be great to gift a little something sweet to a friend or you could use the little trees for party favors!

That's it for me today, I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season!

OH WHAT FUN MINI TAG ALBUM | with Conny

Hello crafty friends! This is Conny from The Daily Life of Creativity, and today I’m excited to share my third project using the Oh What Fun collection by Doodlebug Design. This time I created a tag-style mini album that does not require chipboard. For my base, I used 4” x 6⅛” acrylic tags, but you can recreate this project with any tag shape or size you prefer. Even a smaller 3” x 4” version would be adorable.

I started by choosing my favorite patterned papers from the collection. The 6x8 paper pad works wonderfully for this type of project, but since mine was already used up from my first two projects, I worked with the 12x12 papers instead.

For the front and back covers, I used the Festive Flannel paper. The red flannel pattern is beautiful and works perfectly for a cover design. I trimmed it to fit the acrylic tags and adhered it to both sides.

Inside the album, I cut nine additional tags at 4” x 6” using a mix of the following patterned papers: Christmas Eve, Berry Christmas, All Spruced Up, Cookies and Candy, and Twinkle Time. Some of these repeat throughout the album, and you can flip them to keep the patterns flowing nicely.

Next, I selected a few colors from the Oh What Fun textured cardstock assortment. I trimmed these pieces slightly smaller, to around 5¾” x 4⅛”, so a decorative, patterned border would show along all edges.

Before adhering the cardstock matting, I added some interactive elements to the pages. I created small flip pages using 3x4 cards and tag shapes from the Snow What Fun, Deck the Halls, and Merry and Bright paper. I trimmed the cards and created flips that open to the left and right throughout the album, alternating direction for variety. I also added a few tag shapes between larger pages for more layering.

On one of the tags, I created a small pocket using a 3x4 card. I added hinges on three sides, adhered it down, and tucked in Bits and Pieces from the collection, including small journaling cards that are great for writing notes or adding extra photos.

To embellish the front cover, I layered three patterned papers measuring 3.5” x 5”, 3” x 4.5”, and 2.5” x 4”. On top of this layered base, I added the Playful Pixies Doodle-Pop, along with the small envelope Santa and two layered hearts in light and dark pink. The title “Merry Christmas” comes from the Oh What Fun Chit-Chat pack.

Inside the album, I embellished using puffy words, mini icons, puffy icons, Chit-Chats, Bits and Pieces, and Odds and Ends. I added small clusters throughout the pages while leaving plenty of space for photos. I also added a pink ribbon bow to one of the tags for extra cuteness and completed the entire album with enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my project. I hope it inspires you to create something fun this season. xo, Conny

OH WHAT FUN CHRISTMAS SCRAPBOOK FOLIO | with Jen

I love making folios and the Doodlebug 6x8 paper pads are perfect for them! For today's project I used the Oh What Fun Collection and some 100lb cardstock for my base to make this simple envelope folio.

For my cover I used the adorable Hello Santa Doodle-Pop along with one of the mini cut-aparts from the 6x8 pad along with the clipboard die cut from the Bits and Pieces pack. The flap is cut to a point to look like the flap of an envelope.

On the front inside cover is the other "half" of the envelope with an angled pocket.

Inside there are more pockets, including the new addition to the Bits and Pieces pack the little notched piece shown above!

All the way inside there is a small waterfall on top of a side loading pocket.

There are also several large flaps that will hold 5x7 photos. I've linked a full video walkthrough and tutorial below!

Have a great day!

OH WHAT FUN HEART SHAPED MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hello crafty friends! Traci here and today I'm sharing my new Merry Christmas Scrapbook designed with the adorable Oh What Fun Collection and my clear Acrylic Heart Shaped Album. This mini is so cute for holiday photos and would make a super special Christmas gift for someone you love! ❤️

Oh my goodness ... look at this cover. Doodlebug is just the cutest! To make it, I chose the 12x12 All Spruced Up plaid for the background, then added some colorful presents from the Odds & Ends on top. Next, I punched a 3.5" scalloped circle out of lily white card stock and layered the Santa circle die cut on top. It's from the Chit Chat. Then for a little holiday sparkle, I added some glitter enamel dots to the gifts and the Merry Christmas banner.

Inside, I covered each page in a different 12x12 pattern paper, photo mats, and more adorable embellies. Above, is one of my favorite prints called Cookies and Candy. I just love the cupcake pink color and the little gingerbread men!

The wreath and the "Santa Season" are both die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. If you look closely at the wreath, you'll see a pink star on the bow ... it's from the Christmas Eve shape sprinkles. I also added some ornaments with glitter enamel dots. Beautiful!

I covered this page in the other side of the All Spruced Up paper that's filled with colorful trees. Then, I created a photo mat using a 3.5" scallop circle and 3" circle punch by Marvy Uchida. The "sweet" little gingerbread is from the Bits & Pieces and the word bubble is from the Chit Chat.

Ohhhh, I love the string lights on this page! I used the 12x12 Snow What Fun paper in the background and created another photo mat. Then, I found 2 little red birds in the Odds & Ends that were perfect for holding up the lights from the Chit Chat. I added the enamel Christmas Lights shape sprinkles on top of each bulb, and now they're ready for the holiday!

No Christmas album would be complete without Santa and Mrs. Claus. To highlight them, I added the subtle polka dot pattern in the background called Here Comes Santa. Then, I added the cute couple from the Odds & Ends and another photo mat.

Doodlebug incorporated the fabulous bubble blue color into this collection and I am here for it! Just look how cute this 12x12 Christmas Eve paper is with its little winter snowflakes. It's so beautiful next to the flowers, holly leaves, and berries.

Also, did you notice the shiny snowflakes above? They're die cuts from the Odds & Ends and I added enamel sprinkles from the Snow What Fun shape sprinkles on top. They glisten!

This collection has such gorgeous colors and fun Christmas images. It's perfect for all your holiday papercrafts whether you make cards, scrapbook layouts, or mini albums like me! These products are sure to make you feel all the happy holiday vibes!

I hope my Merry Christmas Heart Shaped Mini Album inspires you to create something special with the Oh What Fun Collection. OH WHAT FUN FESTIVE CHRISTMAS CARDS | with Tya

Hi friends! Tya here, and today I’m excited to share a set of quick and easy Christmas cards I created using the absolutely adorable Oh What Fun collection. This time of year is magical… but let’s be honest, it’s busy! Between holiday parties, shopping, and all the merry chaos, I wanted to create some simple-but-special cards that come together fast—without sacrificing any of that signature Doodlebug charm.

Using a mix of my favorite patterned papers, the playful Odds & Ends pieces, festive Chit Chat banners, some shiny Oh What Fun Sprinkles, and a few sweet Lily White doilies for texture, I put together four bright and happy cards guaranteed to bring a smile to even the grinchiest of faces!

Card 1 – Santa & His Reindeer Cheer

For this card, I layered a sprinkle-filled Merry Magic background paper behind Santa, his reindeer buddy, and a cute little Christmas tree. A stitched green All Spruced Up gingham panel grounds the design, while a Lily White Doily folded in half adds that touch of softness I love. The red “Here Comes Santa Claus”  Chit Chat banner ties everything together and gives this card the perfect jolly finishing touch.

Card 2 – Merry Christmas Village Scene

I couldn’t resist creating a sweet little holiday neighborhood scene for this one! The Village Book Shop Odds & Ends piece is front and center, accented with a whimsical Christmas tree and an adorable elf ready to help wrap presents. The soft green  Spruced Up gingham and pink Berry Christmas heart paper combo is so cheerful and unexpected. A rainbow-lettered “Merry Christmas” Chit Chat banner gives it that playful Doodlebug pop.

Card 3 – Sleigh Full of Joy

This card is filled to the brim with festive fun! I used a star-sprinkled Merry Magic patterned paper for the background and then piled on the bright red sleigh overflowing with gifts, elves, and even a gingerbread man hitching a ride. The doily below creates a snowy, fluffy feel, and the aqua “Happy Holidays” banner adds a perfect soft accent to all those bold colors.

Card 4 – Santa’s Light String Shenanigans

For the final card, I went full whimsical! I chose a sunny yellow  Twinkle Time pattern to pair with Santa tangled in colorful Christmas lights, plus a rainbow-striped tree and bright poinsettias. The red gingham  Festive Flannel paper at the bottom gives it a cozy, homespun look, and the doily brings that little bit of texture that makes everything extra sweet. The “Happy Ho Ho Ho To You” banner was the perfect finishing detail.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope these bright and cheerful cards inspire you to carve out a little creative time this season and whip up a few quick Christmas cards of your own. With the Oh What Fun collection, it’s truly easy to make something festive in no time at all. Happy crafting, friends!

OH WHAT FUN MERRY & BRIGHT LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna back again today sharing another layout using the Oh What Fun collection. I'm having so much fun working with this collection and documenting some of our holiday memories. I realized I hadn't scrapbooked some photos of my girl in front of the Christmas tree last year so I immediately got to work! Here's my page:

When I first received this collection, I saw the new Shakers and knew that a shaker element of some kind was in my near future. I couldn't resist and thought it would be fun to create one for this page. I needed something to create my shaker element in, so I went through the 12x12 patterned papers to see if there was something that I could use. I saw the large tags on the Spot of Cheer paper and immediately started trimming three of them out. I figured I could create my shaker in one of them and here's how I did it.

I trimmed out a square in the middle of the blue one to create my "window". I then took the super adorable Christmas Magic Heavyweight Acetate, trimmed a piece out that was large enough to cover the window and adhered it to the backside of my tag. Next, I took some narrow foam strips and applied it around the perimeter of my window. I carefully poured in some of the Christmas Confetti Shakers mix and then closed the back of my shaker using a scrap piece of vellum from my stash. I love how it turned out!!

Next, I went ahead and added some colored eyelets from my stash to each tag and then tied some Doodlebug Twine through each one. I set them aside and worked on the base for my page. I chose a piece of white cardstock from my stash as the base and then adhered both the A and B sides of the All Spruced Up 12x12 paper to the middle. The colorful trees are the perfect pattern for my photo! I then arranged and layered the three tags together and adhered them down. I matted my photo using the 6x8 Paper Pad and got that adhered down as well. I'm really loving all of the patterns and bright, happy colors all together.

For my title, I chose a phrase from the Chit Chat pack and thought it would fit perfectly on the left side tag. I love how the title and my photo sandwich the shaker element. So fun!

I wanted to decorate the shaker element a little more and I thought the Santa's Elves Doodle-Pop stickers were perfect for it! They're so playful and I love the touch of whimsy that they add to my girls page.

Next, I added my journaling onto one of the little notebook die cuts from the Bits & Pieces pack. I centered it right under my tag and adhered it down. I then started to embellish and tried to keep it at a minimum since my page was already pretty busy. I simply added a few Oh What Fun Sprinkles in some spots and then tucked a few trees from the Odds & Ends pack into the outside of the tags.

Here's one last look at this super cute page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!

OH WHAT FUN MERRY CHRISTMAS LAYOUT | with Tarrah

The holiday season is the perfect time to get creative, and today I’m sharing a festive layout that will make your memories shine! Using the super cute and gorgeous Oh What Fun Collection, I created a playful Christmas tree design that’s bursting with color, cheer, and adorable details.

Instead of a traditional tree, I built a tree shape using stickers and embellishments from the Chit Chat, Odds and Ends, Bits and Pieces packs, This and That stickers, Shape Sprinkles, Puffy stickers and of course some Doodle Pops! This design draws the eye straight to the center where the photo sits, making it the star of the show while surrounded by holiday magic.

Base & Background: I started with a crisp white cardstock background framed with a bright red patterned paper for a pop of color.
Tree Shape: The tree is formed by layering gift box die-cuts and stickers in a triangular arrangement. Each piece adds texture and dimension, creating a fun stacked-present look. I adhered 90% of the embellishments using foam tape to create that dimension and shadows.
Photo Placement: The photo is nestled in the center of the tree, framed by cheerful elements like candy canes, bows, and gingerbread characters.

The Oh What Fun Collection is packed with gorgeous whimsical icons—elves, ornaments, toys, gingerbread people, stars, and sweet treats. I added: Doodle-Pops for a 3D effect, Shape Sprinkles and Puffy stickers to fill in gaps and add pops of color, A star sticker at the top to complete the tree look and A festive light garland die-cut topped with Shape Sprinkles to enhance it across the top of the page for extra holiday charm.

To tie everything together, I added a stitched border around the layout and a playful “Merry Christmas” sentiment at the bottom. The result? A bright, joyful page that captures the spirit of the season. I love how this layout turned out and I love that it’s a creative way to showcase a single photo while using up lots of fun embellishments. Plus, the tree shape makes it instantly festive!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you get some time to craft this holiday season! Why not start by using the Oh What Fun collection?! You will love it! Happy crafting!
