PETITE PRINTS PHOTO ORGANIZER | with Jen

Scrapbookers take tons of photos. And if, like me, you're like most scrapbookers you're probably waaayyyy behind on scrapping all those photos! This project will help you keep those photos organized while you design the perfect pages!

I used (almost) all the colors of the new Petite Prints in both the Plaid/Polka Dot and Candy Stripe/Sprinkles to construct my folders and the box to hold them.

I used Doodlebug Alphabet Soup Puffy Letters to label each folder with the month and decorated my box with some Odds and Ends, Chit Chat, and Shape Sprinkles from Cute & Crafty.

On the folders I added a mini doily and pieces from the Cute & Crafty Bits and Pieces to finish them off.

PETITE PRINTS PARADISE LAYOUT | With Traci

Happy Thursday friends! I hope everyone is enjoying your summer because I have a 12x12 summer-inspired page today. It's actually a companion page to the layout I shared with you two weeks ago here.

You know me, I love a good grid layout. Something about the clean lines, symmetry, and focus on lots of photos has my name written all over it :). So I grabbed my 4 favorite colors of the new polka dot/plaid and candy stripe/sprinkle petite prints (cherry, swimming pool, limeade and bumblebee) and cut out twenty-five 2.25" squares.

I was originally going to place them on a diagonal, but I liked how the square grid mimicked my companion beach page so I stuck with that.

Once all of my squares were on the white base, I added 2" white mats to random squares and chose a set of 4 to cover with a larger 4.25" square mat.

The really fun part was adding mini icon stickers, and chit chat pieces, along with some coordinating shape sprinkles (Seaside Summer) to the page.

My first beach page allowed for 6 photos, and today's has space for at least 9+. That's a lot of pictures on a two-page layout! So grab your favorite petite print colors and have some fun with squares! Until next time, happy scrapping everyone!

PETITE PRINTS HAPPY TOGETHER LAYOUT | with Erica

One of my favorite products to use with pattern paper is steel dies! There a so many ways to use a die set to create a page! I really wanted to highlight the new Candy Stripe-Sprinkles and Plaid-Polka Dot Petite Prints so I pulled out the papers that match the Pretty Kitty collection!

I also pulled out some of the Doodlebug Design Stand Alone Dies! For this layout I used the Hello Fall and Spring Garden Stand Alone Dies. I die cut flowers and leaves using the new Petite Prints 6x6 paper pads. For the design of my layout I went with a floral wreath!

I assembled all the die cut flowers and arranged them in a circle on a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 11x11. I matted the white cardstock on the Dear to My Heart Paper from the Pretty Kitty collection and then matted onto my favorite Backyard Bunch floral paper in this collection.

Once all my die cut flowers were arranged on the page I went back in with some smaller flowers and popped them up around the page. I added some puffy stickers, shaped sprinkles and sprinkles to the center of some of the flowers and also around the wreath.

I adhered my photo to the right side of the wreath and added one of the die cut flowers to the bottom right corner! At the top of my photo I added a tab from the Pretty Kitty This & That cardstock stickers and adhered a word sticker from the Seaside Summer collection. I love how this layout came together using the new Petite Prints and Stand Alone dies!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug Blog! I hope you are inspired to use the new Petite Prints with dies in your stash! Have a great day!

PETITE PRINTS CANDY BAR WRAPPERS | with Karen

Well, it is almost the end of the school year up here where I live and that means it is time to crank out the thank-you gifts. I have one teenager and one preteen and let's just say that their teachers are saints (actually, I am just kidding - my girls are awesome...as are their teachers).
   All-two
So I decided to pull together some candy bar wrappers created with one of the new Petite Prints - Candy-stripe Sprinkle. I love this new print and it comes in all the Doodlebug colours we have come to love! Wrapping this pattern around candy bars seemed rather fitting! :)
Closeup-1
I then used my Cricut to cut out some letters from the same paper. I love that the paper is think enough to really hold it's own, even with some of these intricate cuts.
Closeup-2
And then I just finished off with a little heart die cut that I pulled from the Lot's of Love Odds and Ends (you could simple cut our a heart shape from the Petite Prints as well - I just didn't think of that at the time ;)), and added some sparkle with some mini jewels.
  All-one
I just love the bright and fun look of these and the fact that it really is the paper that steals the show here! It's a great example of how awesome Petite Prints can be just on their own! Well, if you have some "thank-yous" of your own to create, I hope you find some inspiration in these little wrappers. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

PETITE PRINTS FUR BABY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper back with you today sharing another layout featuring the new Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Rainbow Petite Prints. I've loved playing with these papers! They really get me thinking creatively! I also added in a few bits and pieces from the Doggone Cute collection and decided to use only blue and yellow tones for my whole page. I love how it turned out and hope that you like it too!

I have this super cute photo of my dog getting a bath in our laundry room sink and the second that I saw the Rub-A-Dub Doodle-Pop, I knew that I would make a layout with it. That's exactly what inspired me to use only blues and yellows for my page! So with that in mind, I pulled out the following colors from both the Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints: Blue Jean, Lemon, Bumble Bee, Bubble Blue and Swimming Pool.

Next, I pulled out my paper punches in various sizes and punched out a bunch of circles. I cut into the smaller ones to give them some texture and interest. Then I layered them on the larger circles and popped each one on foam tape. To finish them off, I adhered a Lily White Sprinkle in the center of each one. Before gluing them down, I sprayed my background with some shimmer spray in blues and yellows. Just a little extra color for my circles to sit on!

Next, I matted my photo using the 6x6 Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Paper Pad and used a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title.

I started to embellish using a few pieces from the Odds and Ends pack and adhered those to my circles. Here's a closer look at that adorable Doodle-Pop that inspired the entire layout!

I embellished using a few of the Mini Icons and the Puffy Icons stickers. There are so many cute elements in this collection and I love that they match the Petite Prints papers so well! I also pulled out the Wash Wagon Doodle-Pop and used the cute doggie from it! He's brown and matches my dog, so it was perfect!

Here's one last look at this page! I added in some tangled thread to a few of the circles and then for some extra color, I added in a strip of the Blue Jean Plaid-Polka-Dot paper to the top and bottom of my page. I adhered it to the back of my page and then cut into the white cardstock to reveal the patterned paper behind it. So simple!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! Do you enjoy creating projects using certain colors? I really enjoyed challenging myself to use only blues and yellows. It was a lot of fun! See you next time friends!

PETITE PRINTS IT'S A RAINBOW KIND OF DAY LAYOUT | with Tarrah

You would have to agree that everyday is a Rainbow Kind of Day right? Especially when you have gorgeous New Petite Print papers to work with!

I decided to cut out the 'It's a Rainbow Kind of Day' cut file from white cardstock and then I cut it out again using the New Petite Prints Candy Stripe-Sprinkles 6' x 6' paper pad. I then pieced all of the pieces together to create the pretty cut file. I used mainly the sprinkle side of the paper but I also flipped it to show the stripes on 2 of the letters in the Rainbow word.

I adhered the cut file using craft foam to the white Plaid-Polka Dot 12' x 12' paper, I trimmed this paper down and then adhered the whole layout to the red Candy Stripe-Sprinkles 12' x 12' patterned paper. I placed my photo in the top right corner to balance out the larger elements on the page.

I combined the gorgeous Over the Rainbow collection with the Petite Prints collection and love how everything co-ordinates! I added lots of gorgeous embellishments to the cut file and around my page as well.

In the centre of the 'O' I added the super cute Clover Doodle-Pop and you can see the detail in the rainbow where I added some enamel dots in corresponding colors.

I love how my layout turned out, I just love rainbows and color (who doesn't?) so this is definitely a favorite layout of mine! I hope you enjoyed reading about how I created it?!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy creating!

PETITE PRINTS FLOWER BOUQUETS | with Niella

Hey crafty crew! Thanks a bunch (excuse the pun) for popping by, it's Niella here with such a fun and pretty project showcase using the versatile and sweet Plaid-Polka dot rainbow petite print papers and the ever-versatile doodle-cuts! To begin, I die cut a whole bunch of different sized flowers using the Thanks a Bunch set and also the Spring Garden Doodle Cut sets. These are my fave-to-date die sets to create with ;-)  And the different patterns and colors of the new Petite Prints were perfect for this project!

And now to show you what I've created! Darling paper flower bouquets; super layered and extra special!

The measurement for the pink bouquet is: 8.25" x 5" wide and the kraft bouquet is: 6.5" x 4" at widest point. Adorable right! These can be displayed on your craftroom shelf or office pinboard! How about gifting these!

Start off but making the bottom piece which will hold the flowers. I've simply angled a square piece of each chosen paper and folded the sides in and then folded a smaller corner outwards.

Then with the flowers, I've pinched together each petal to add dimension and then layered each off set upon each other with a foam pop dot. Then I've added a Sprinkle enamel dot as the flower centre.

The bouquet still needed some extra detail, so using the leaf die from the Hello Fall Doodle Cuts set; I die cut a whole bunch and tucked the finished leaves in between the flowers.

Finish off each bouquet with some Doodle Twine (my other fave product of the moment)

And how about those tweety birds! Adding in the love birds only seemed natural! How cute are they perched amongst the flowers! SWOON!

These turned out so SO stinkin' cute and I hope these inspire you! Can't wait to see what y'all create, please don't forget to share your creations on all your socials by tagging us in so we can see what you've been up too :-) Until next time; doodle dee!

PETITE PRINTS STAY CLOSE LAYOUT | with Lisa

I just love a cute basic patterned paper and I love it even more, having this paper in a TON of beautiful colors. We got the new Petite prints in 12x12 and 6x6 and I have to say... JUST BEAUTIFUL!! I was very excited to use them for this layout. I chose the Pistachio Candy Stripe-Sprinkles paper for my background as this color was just too pretty to use in small amounts... :)

I went through all of the colors of the Doodlebug rainbow, chose one Petite Print for each,  and cut out a heart from each.  I distressed all of them with my scissors.  I placed the hearts on my paper and chose a fun way to display them. Some of them are overlapping, which gives it even more interest. I adhered the hearts using liquid glue and foam tape.

I matted the photo on a piece of  lily white Petite Prints, distressed the edges and added it to the layout.

I wanted my title to be super colorful and whimsical. I grabbed all of my Doodlebug alpha stickers and used letters from all the different styles.

Next I added some little nests of colored thread behind some of the hearts. I like how it adds  more color.  I wanted to add a little more to the layout , so I trimmed the Pistachio Sprinkles paper on each side (around 1/2 inch) and then adhered it to the Lily White Sprinkles paper.  I distressed the edges, bent them up slightly and added a doodled border all around.

I also drew borders on all of the hearts.  To complete I added some Puffy Shaped Heart Stickers and Mini Jewels.  I LOOOOOVE all of the pretty colors on this layout.  Go get yourself some fun new Petite Prints,  I'm sure you desperately need those in your stash...:)   See you soon,
