BERRY SWEET BOX CARDS | with Kathy

As soon as I saw the adorable little mice in the Berry Sweet collection, I knew I wanted to make some cards featuring them.  And, of course I needed to make them 3D cards, because that is so much fun!  Take a peek...

How cute are those mousies???!!!  I just pictured them sitting among the strawberries and flowers holding onto their treasures!

For both cards, I started with some Outside the Box Card dies from my stash for the bases which I cut from some lily white cardstock.   For my first card, I covered my back panel with one of the bonus papers that is available in the 6x8 pad.  The grass was also cut from another bonus paper.  I then cut lots of flowers using the Berry Sweet Treats Doodle Cuts.  I added sprinkles to the flower centers for a little dimension.  The sentiment is from the All the things pack.  I love the scripty font!  As a finishing touch I added a few Berry Blossoms shaped sprinkles.

My next card features more of the dies from the Berry Sweet Treats Doodle Cuts.  My background paper is the 6x8 version of the Strawberry Fields paper.  I wanted my mouse to look like he was standing in the middle of the strawberry field, so I created strawberry plants using the doodle cuts and a lily of the valley die I had in my stash for the stems.  The flowers are from the Berry Blossoms shaped sprinkles. I finished my card with a sentiment strip from the All the Things pack.

This collection just makes me so happy!  Have you created any projects using Berry Sweet?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on socials, we love to see what you create.  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!

BERRY SWEET SUMMER FUN MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello, Sweet Friends!  It’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity with another fun mini-album project featuring the Berry Sweet collection! I am completely in love with the freshness and charm of this collection—it even inspired me to add little strawberries to my nails!

This mini album is perfect for capturing all your summer fun memories. You can recreate it using the 6” x 8” paper pad and Berry Sweet Solid Assortment Textured Cardstock.
Let’s dive into the details! For my album base I started with the chipboard covers: Two covers: 5” x 7”, and Spine: 7” x 1.5”.  For the outside, I used the Berry Sweet paper.  I centered my chipboard pieces on the 6” x 8” patterned paper—there's a 1/2” border all around. I added double-sided tape, then mitered the corners using a book cover guide tool for clean folds.

To join the spine and covers:  I cut red cardstock (from the solid assortment) to 4 1/2” x 6 7/8”
and scored on the longest side at 1 1/2” and 3”.  I then applied double-sided tape to the center of that piece, adhered the spine, and then attached the covers to each flap.
Inside the Album:   I matted the inside covers with matching patterned paper. On the inside front cover, I added a waterfall using the 3” x 4” cards from the 6” x 8” paper pad. I cut red cardstock to 3” x 4 1/2” and score dat 1/2” on the longest side. I then adhered to each flap in a stack to create the waterfall effect.
Pages & Pockets: :Page 1: White cardstock, 6 3/4” x 10”, score at 1/2” and 5 1/4”• Page 2: White cardstock, 6 3/4” x 10”, score at 4 3/4” and 5 1/4”.  To mat the pages: Cut mats to 4 1/2” x 6 1/2”
Add a pocket: Cut cardstock to 4” x 5” and score 1/2” on three sides. Fold, adhere, and embellish with coordinating paper.
For the Photo Mats & Flaps: I also created a few fun photo mats. Two mats: 4” x 12”, scored at 6” to fold• Flat mats: 4” x 6”. Flip mat: 6” x 8”, scored at 4” to open left to right. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope this project inspires you to create something berry sweet of your own. Happy Crafting, xo!

BERRY SWEET - SWEET SUMMER FUN LAYOUT | with Jen

I'm not usually a 12x12 layout girly but every once in a while I'll see a paper collection and remember a picture or event and I just have to do it! Today's project I used the adorable Berry Sweet collection to document a summer barbecue and my son's refusal to eat strawberries!

I used one of the coordinating solids as my base and added an 8x8 piece of white cardstock layered with an 8x10 piece of the Berry Sweet paper. I trimmed one of the journaling cut-aparts down and added a small piece of one of the border strips for my journaling. I finished it off with the Berry Sweet Shaker Pop.

I used the Berry Basket Doodle Pop and added two of the mice stickers from the Icons sticker sheet.

Finally I used the All the Things pack to add my title and layered it with the fun strawberry lemonade and another berry basket.

Have a great day!
